Former CIA Director Michael Hayden hammered after comparing U.S. to Nazi Germany
On Saturday, former CIA and NSA chief Michael Hayden was shredded on social media after he compared the United States to Nazi Germany. The former general made his comparison less than 24 hours after two MSNBC analysts falsely claimed the Trump administration is throwing children into concentration camps.
“Other governments have separated mothers and children,” he tweeted.

The response was pretty much what one might expect.
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
Other countries monitored their citizens’ phone calls under the guise of “national security.” One such group was called the Gestapo. Another the NKVD. A third was run by YOU. Comparison hurts, doesn’t it?

Hard to believe a man who publicly calls himself a General could make an implication as false, obscene and offensive as this.
An embarrassment to the United States Air Force. https://t.co/yjJd81uskg

You’re a lunatic.

@jaysonstreet How about this comparison. As DirNSA, you were responsible for spying on your own citizens like these guys. pic.twitter.com/lWZWdpFpIU

Our friend Jeff Dunetz gave Hayden a small reminder of what actually took place during the Obama regime:
—>Obama Admistration Kept Illegal Mexican Kids In Detention Camps As "Experiment" https://t.co/n26aHRcLCd
— Jeff Dunetz (@yidwithlid) June 17, 2018
As Dunetz noted, citing the Washington Post:
It was called the Juvenile Referral Process, and it worried human rights groups Mexican officials who feared that it put the kids at risk. The program was the creation of Robert Harris who at the time U.S. Customs and Border Protection commander of the Laredo sector. Harris believed holding certain young Mexicans, believed to be working for cartels in detention serves to get these kids out of the smuggling enterprise. Believed is the operative word, There were no judges, no charges– no trial–just belief.
One person asked:

Good question. Could it be that Hayden and others drawing Nazi comparisons are actually trying to foment a violent insurrection against the Trump administration?
As Dilbert creator Scott Adams noted during the general election:
“…once you define Trump as Hitler, you also give citizens moral permission to kill him. And obviously it would be okay to kill anyone who actively supports a genocidal dictator, including anyone who wrote about his persuasion skills in positive terms.”
Is that the ultimate goal? House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi hinted at that recently when she wondered why there weren’t uprisings against the government.
It’s one thing to hear this from far-left talking heads like Joe Scarborough and leftists like Chelsea Handler, but as Jim Hoft noted, “it’s particularly disturbing when the former head of the CIA says it.”
