Palm Beach Gardens – A Florida Teen, Corey Johnson, 17, who said he was inspired by his Muslim faith, stabbed 13 year old Jovanni Brand to death and injured two others, Elaine Simon and Dane Bancroft on Monday. According to police, Johnson purchased the knife on Sunday and brought it to a sleepover.
According to the Probable Cause Affidavit,
“Johnson advised at 4 a.m. he realized that everyone in the house was asleep. At that time, Johnson made the decision to kill Elaine, Dane, and Jovanni in their sleep…Elaine heard what she believed to be Jovanni moaning and went upstairs to see what was going on. As she got to the top of the stairs, Johnson lunged at her with a knife, cutting her multiple times…In his statement, Johnson advised he stabbed the victims because of his Muslim faith…He was reading the Qu’ran beforehand to ‘give him the courage to carry out his intentions.'” Officer Jennifer Brashear
Jovanni was stabbed multiple times and his throat cut.
What was Corey’s reasoning (or lack thereof)? He felt that Bancroft had been “making fun” of his Muslim faith, and that Elaine was “idolizing” celebrities as “gods.”
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
Kyle Bancroft, 15, who was uninjured, told authorities that he had known Corey Johnson for about 10 years, and often watched videos about Muslim jihadists togeter. Police stated that the videos were extreme and about killing the infidels.

The intentions of a Muslim at the ripe old age of 17 should be a warning. You can say, ‘well he was too young to understand things,’ but in fact, the Qu’ran is pretty clear about fighting against people who do not believe.
“Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful and who do not adopt the religion of truth from those who were given the Scripture – [fight] until they give the jizyah willingly while they are humbled.” Sura 9:29
