Feds Investigating if Democrats’ IT Man Sold Emails To Russia

The investigation into the personal IT man for Debbie Wasserman Schultz and dozens of other Democrats has taken a sharp turn.  Paul Sperry of the New York Post wrote a story using sources familiar with the investigation and he writes the federal authorities are looking into whether IT staffer Imran Awan sold information contained on Democrats’ computers to either Pakistan or Russia.  They say this is a huge scandal because they believe the information was bought in order to be used for blackmail.

How ironic is this.  The same Democrats who claim the Trump dossier is true and that Russia plans to use it to blackmail the president, when all this time it was the Democrats who indirectly supplied (possibly) a foreign government with tons of material to be used for blackmail purposes.

Awan worked for thirty different Democrats.  And for some strange reason, DWS refused to fire him until the day he was arrested as he attempted to flee the country.

According to the New York Post:

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

An internal investigation revealed the theft of hundreds of thousands of dollars in government property, and evidence pointed to five IT staffers and the Democratic Congress members’ offices that employed them.

The evidence was turned over to the House inspector general, who found so much “smoke” that she recommended a criminal probe, sources say. The case was turned over to Capitol Police in October.

When the suspected IT workers couldn’t produce the missing invoiced equipment, sources say, they were removed from working on the computer network in early February.

During the probe, investigators found valuable government data that is believed to have been taken from the network and placed on offsite servers, setting off more alarms. Some 80 offices were potentially compromised.

Over the last decade, Imran and his family hauled in a cool four million dollars.  The former McDonald’s employee was suddenly making as much as a chief of staff.  The authorities believe that Imran was downloading from the computers he had access to and sent it to an off site server that he controlled.

But I’m sure you’ll hear about this on CNN. Right?  NBC?  ABC?  NYT, Huffington Post?  I forgot.  They aren’t allowed to run this.  It’s not fake news about President Trump.

“This is a massive, massive scandal,” a senior US official familiar with the widening probe told The Post.

No doubt, the authorities are exerting pressure on Awan and you can bet he will pop like a giant pimple if he’s squeezed hard enough and promised a lot of leniency.  The big question is once the federal authorities have the documents in hand, will they prosecute the Democrats who obviously did something that they could be blackmailed for.
