According to a Conservative Tribune article, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is in meltdown mode over all of the people who have left Facebook because of their censorship, and is now begging them to come back.
“Facebook is not having a good month. In a short matter of time, the famous social network has faced questions about political bias and its handling of users’ personal data… and now the online giant is spending its own money to try to win back people it has alienated. Over the last several days, online users have noticed something that was once unimaginable. Facebook has apparently begun a paid advertising campaign to woo the public back to the site. Banner advertisements have been spotted on many third-party sites, clearly paid for by the social media outlet as part of a user retention push. “See the latest from friends and family on Facebook!” one ad pleaded.”

Additionally, over a 10 day period Facebook lost over $70 BILLION in market value because of decreased user activity, which has been attributed to their penchant for censorship.
Considering his continuing learning disability, we’re counting on it continuing to decline.

“Facebook has lost more than $70 billion in market value since March 16, when Facebook announced that it was banning Cambridge Analytica from the platform. Shares in Facebook continued to fall on Monday as the scandal entered its second week. Facebook shares fell by 6.5 percent over the course of the day, closing at $160.06. Shares are down 13 percent since the company’s data scandal began. The continued decline in share price followed news that the FTC has launched an investigation into the social media company. In Britain, the government is also investigating Facebook. Consumer trust in the company has plummeted, and a majority of users are now considering leaving the platform over privacy concerns.“
What we’re thinking is “too bad, so sad, Mark. You’ve made your bed and now you get to sleep in it.”
Why would anyone want to return to a social network that had disrespected their right to express themselves when there are other, better options for them to use?
