Egypt: 3 Christians to Prison for Killing 1 Muslim: No Muslims Going to Jail for Killing 6 Christians
An Egyptian judicial official announces three Christians sentence to prison (1 for life, 2 for 15 years each) for killing a Muslim. During the same period of violence, 6 Christians were murdered…no prison. The killings were sparked when Muslims accused Christians of desecrating an Islamic School, which the Christians denied.
An official speaking anonymously, said that nine Muslims were sentenced to prison for up to 5 years for damaging Christian property. No charges were lodged for the six Christians who were killed.
