DHS Issued Heightened Terror Alert on ‘Domestic Violent Extremists’ – Is That Us?

The DHS issued a heightened terror alert on Wednesday against “Domestic Violent Extremists.”

The Acting Secretary of Homeland Security has issued a National Terrorism Advisory System (NTAS) Bulletin due to a heightened threat environment across the United States, which DHS believes will persist in the weeks following the successful Presidential Inauguration. Information suggests that some ideologically-motivated violent extremists with objections to the exercise of governmental authority and the presidential transition, as well as other perceived grievances fueled by false narratives, could continue to mobilize to incite or commit violence.

That doesn’t exactly sound like a bulletin about the left, does it? This next part is creepy:

Throughout 2020, Domestic Violent Extremists (DVEs) targeted individuals with opposing views engaged in First Amendment-protected, non-violent protest activity. DVEs motivated by a range of issues, including anger over COVID-19 restrictions, the 2020 election results, and police use
of force have plotted and on occasion carried out attacks against government facilities.
• Long-standing racial and ethnic tension—including opposition to immigration—has driven DVE attacks, including a 2019 shooting in El Paso, Texas that killed 23 people.
• DHS is concerned these same drivers to violence will remain through early 2021 and some DVEs may be emboldened by the January 6, 2021 breach of the U.S. Capitol Building in Washington, D.C. to target elected officials and government facilities.
• DHS remains concerned that Homegrown Violent Extremists (HVEs) inspired by foreign terrorist groups, who committed three attacks targeting government officials in 2020, remain a threat.
• Threats of violence against critical infrastructure, including the electric, telecommunications and healthcare sectors, increased in 2020 with violent extremists citing misinformation and conspiracy theories about COVID-19 for their actions.
• DHS, as well as other Federal agencies and law enforcement partners will continue to take precautions to protect people and infrastructure across the United States.
• DHS remains committed to preventing violence and threats meant to intimidate or coerce specific populations on the basis of their religion, race, ethnicity, identity or political views.
• DHS encourages state, local, tribal, and territorial homeland security partners to continue prioritizing physical security measures, particularly around government facilities, to protect people and critical infrastructure.

These agencies need to be careful about who they are lumping into the same category as the El Paso shooter. Categorizing white people as “white supremacists” is disturbing, but that has been the narrative for the last 12 years – 8 under Obama and 4 under Trump. It continues even after Trump left the White House – they labelled him as racist when he was not.

People like small business owners who are angry over COVID restrictions, or people who have heard the myriad of doctors speak about the problems with the COVID response are not the terrorists. The idiots who came up with a plot against Michigan Governor Whitmer were fools. But were they terrorists?

Reminder: when Obama was in office, he directed the FBI, DHS, and other Federal agencies to be more concerned about homegrown terrorists than Islamic terrorists. They used the spectre of Timothy McVeigh and the Oklahoma bombing to justify that position. Now they are using the El Paso shooter, Patrick Cruisus, who murdered Latinos because he hated them to drive the narrative.

The real Domestic Terrorists

Antifa are terrorists – real ones who target people because it’s a political agenda to destroy. They intimidate and kill people and even harm them based on their political views just like the real white supremacists do. Antifa hates Biden as much as they hate Trump. They are on a mission to destroy the United States by replacing it with a Communist anarchy. We know that combination cannot exist- Communism is always repressive, always targets the ordinary citizen. The same goes for the Black Lives Matter organization (not the thought- every life matters, regardless of race). BLM are Marxists bent upon destroying the country and they’ve openly admitted it. They use intimidation and riots to push their agenda.
