Dems Fear That a “QAnon Republican” Going to Shoot Them

Metal detectors removed from House of Representatives Freaks Out Democrats

Eric Swalwell is a nutjob all by himself, and we wish he would stay home instead of coming to Congress, but since Congress is stuck with him, we’ll have to deal with his idiocy. He thinks (along with other Democrats) that because the new GOP House leadership finally removed the metal detectors, some “QAnon Republican” is going to commit a mass shooting. He and his colleagues are scared spitless of guns, and particularly the ones exhibited by certain lawmakers. So of course, he claims the lawmakers are ‘unstable.’ This coming from a guy who slept with a Chinese spy and threatened to “nuke” Conservatives. Frankly, there is a big question as to who is actually “unstable.” Dems fear is wrong on so many levels.

“Democrats fear there could be a mass shooting on the House floor at the trigger of one of the GOP’s newly expanded ranks of conspiracy-believing lawmakers…A lot of my Republican colleagues glorify violence and proudly display the firearms they have in their offices, so it just makes me nervous that we could have a workplace violent event.  They’re not the most stable people.” Eric Swalwell to Raw Story

Dems fear mass shooting…by Lauren Boebert? Good grief.

Specifically, Swalwell and others are referring to Lauren Boebert, who openly says that she would love to be able to carry her weapon on the House Floor but has been prohibited from doing so. He and his Democrat colleagues believe that violence is ‘glorified’ by the mere presence of guns and those who aren’t afraid of them. They are wrong, but the media generally feeds that incorrect belief structure.

Swalwell isn’t alone in his thoughts. Other Democrats are also freaked out by the removal of the magnetometers:

“I used to assume that nothing crazy could happen here. I no longer assume that. After Jan. 6, I don’t assume anything anymore. So it’s a little concerning,” Rep. Dan Kildee (D-MI) also told the outlet.

Rep. David Cicilline (D-RI) also noted an “increase in political violence” as a concern.

“I think it should concern everyone.,” he said.

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) was surprised to find he didn’t need to go through the same security precautions as before, revealing a security official laughed at him this week when he emptied his pockets heading to work.

“I hope it’s safe. I think we all have some concerns about it,” the congressman said. Mediaite

So there you have the belief structure of the Democrats in a nutshell (emphasis in then nut part). If you have concerns about the veracity of the 2020 election, or you like Donald Trump you’re a “conspiracy theorist.” If you have guns and believe in the 2nd amendment, you’re “unstable.” A good half of the country is now labelled “unstable.” Brilliant.
