Democrat Luis Gutierrez Slams Trump’s Response to Hurricane Florence Before It Hits Land

These days, Democrats don’t even bother to wait for the crisis to hit. They preemptively attack the President days beforehand.

With a “monster” storm in the form of Hurricane Florence barreling towards the eastern seaboard and millions fleeing it’s anticipated landfall on Friday, one Illinois lawmaker is making preparations of his own.

How can I score cheap political points in the wake of an impending natural disaster?

Luis Gutierrez appeared on MSNBC’s ‘All In’ with host Chris Hayes to discuss the administration’s preparedness for Florence. It took all of two sentences for the congressman to assume the White House would suffer a stunning lack of coordination in preventing a disastrous response because the President is preoccupied with finding out the author of the New York Times ‘resistance’ op-ed.

“You know what I fear, is the calamity, because of the lack of coordination of the government, with the National Guard, and with local government,” he asserted.

“The lack of responsiveness and preparedness of this government, because the president wants to find out who was the one that wrote that op-ed piece about the chaos in the White House.”

Good to know Democrats can now see well into the future to predict disaster preparedness. The reality is, no matter how efficient or well-prepared the administration might be in dealing with this storm, liberals and the mainstream media will immediately label it Trump’s Katrina.

“He’s so consumed by the calamity in the chaos that exists, he’s not really prepared and focused, because he spends every weekend golfing, instead of preparing,” Gutierrez added.

In closing, he attacked Trump for his response the hurricane devastation in Puerto Rico.

“You were lazy, you were on duty, and people died because of it,” he said.

Trump fought back against the Puerto Rico criticism in a Wednesday morning tweet.

Expect the grandstanding to increase even more with this already fame-hungry Democrat. He is considered to be a top contender should he toss his hat in the ring for mayor of Chicago.

Gutierrez loves attention and doesn’t mind going to any length to achieve it.

He stormed out of the President’s State of the Union address as chants of ‘USA! USA!’ erupted in the Chamber.

Gutierrez additionally, long a hater of law-abiding, legal immigration-promoting, pro-American Americans, has also been arrested countless times in trying to defend the rights of illegals, even being placed in cuffs outside Trump Tower.

He was also arrested in early March after refusing to leave a meeting of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) because they weren’t giving him enough information to help protect illegal immigrants.

Despite this record, Gutierrez had the stones to refer to President Trump as a “major criminal” who must be “eliminated.”
