A skit at a Senator Mark Sandoval fundraiser involving someone with a fake “assault weapon” pretending to assassinate a fake President Trump forced a Democrat apology. A woman who witnessed the incident posted the pictures on line. Do their apologies mean anything?

Senator Sandoval, who can be seen standing directly next to the man who was holding the fake gun, issued an apology later. You know, after the backlash began. Here’s the Democrat apology:
“The incident that took place is unacceptable. I don’t condone violence toward the President or anyone else. I apologize that something like this happened at my event.” Senator Mark Sandoval (D-IL)
Gov Pritzker (D): “As our nation grapples with the epidemic of gun violence, purposely pointing a fake gun at anyone is insensitive and wrong. I condemn actions like the ones displayed in the pictures because they lack the civility our politics demands.”
Democrats for Illinois also responded: “The tragedies in El Paso and Gilroy have demonstrated how hate-filled political rhetoric can fuel violence. These images are unacceptable and dangerous. The place to make our voices heard against Trump is at the ballot box .”
Notice that they didn’t mention the Dayton Ohio shooting, because the shooter was a raging radical leftist. They skipped right over him. Surprise.
The fact is, the only time Democrats ever apologize is after the backlash starts. Why they didn’t think about their actions BEFORE is absolutely stunning. You’ve not seen this kind of violence ever portrayed by this President. But it’s common among Democrats with Trump Derangement Syndrome.
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
The responses to Mr. Maxwell’s Twitter post were swift. Here are a few of them:
One Twitter user wrote: “The Secret Service has been notified. It is AMAZING how a Senator could be allowed to endorse MURDER and not have be RAIDED BY FEDERAL AGENTS! Anyone else would have their doors kicked in by the feds — it’s time to send some of these TERRORIST SENATORS TO PRISON!”
Another Twitter user wrote: “That is disgusting! As a responsible gun owner the first thing WE learn is fake, real, loaded, unloaded, toy or not, you NEVER point a weapon at another person. The fact that it is a Trump mask should be investigated and prosecuted by @SecretService! #DemocratViolence“
This Twitter user said, “Democratics [sic] are truly the party of violence. I am leaving the party, one I have belonged to for 49 years! They call for violence toward military, police, blacks that don’t agree with them, whites, anti Semitic rants, etc, etc. NO MORE, IM DONE! Trump in 2020.”
The fact that Democrats had to apologize tells us they didn’t care ahead of time what their actions entailed. From Kathy Griffin and the Trump head debacle to this stupid move at a Democrat fundraiser speaks volumes about the “tolerant” left. A Democrat apology means nothing.
