Dem Rep. Ilhan Omar defends Black Hebrew Israelites against Covington teens, gets called out for her lies

On Wednesday, freshman Muslim Rep. Ilhan Omar issued a tweet defending the racist, homophobic Black Hebrew Israelites who taunted the Covington Catholic High School students.  The tweet was taken down, but not before Omar was called out for her lies and threatened with a libel suit.

“-The boys were protesting a woman’s right to choose & yelled ‘it’s not rape if you enjoy it’ -They were taunting 5 Black men before they surrounded Phillips and led racist chants -Sandmann’s family hired a right wing PR firm to write his non-apology,” Omar’s tweet said.

Although the tweet was taken down, an archived version of it can be seen here.

Robert Barnes, an attorney who offered to represent the Covington families free of charge, put Omar on notice, Cristina Laila said.

Twitchy asked:  “Did she watch any of the videos? Does she have any comment on what the Black Hebrew Israelites were saying to the boys? Does she care about any of it?”

It’s obvious she doesn’t care nor does she care about truth, fact or anything approaching reality.  As for watching the full video, would it really matter if she had?

Others weighed in:

Don’t count on it…

Indeed these are interesting and wild times.

Just think.  THIS is the new Democrat majority controlling the House of Representatives.  Makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside, doesn’t it?
