Day of Lies: Dems Play Deceptively Edited Video In Impeachment Trial; 75 Lies Found In Impeachment Papers

On Tuesday, the second impeachment trial of former President Donald Trump began, and to no one’s surprise, it was a day filled with numerous lies and deceptions on the part of the Democrats.

To start, the Democratic-controlled Senate voted 56-44 that it was constitutional to impeach a private citizen who is no longer in office. A handful of Republicans, including Mitt “Pierre Delecto” Romney, joined Democrats in their vote.

Then, Democrats played a very deceptively-edited video of Trump’s January 6 speech, cutting out the part where he told supporters to “peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.”

Breitbart noted:

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Yes

The video shows Trump saying, “We’re going to walk down and I’ll be there with you. We’re going to walk down…to the Capitol.”

The video then cuts to supporters yelling, “Let’s take the Capitol!” and “We are going to the Capitol!” It then cuts to people trying to get past fence barriers, and then to an earlier part of Trump’s speech where he said in regards to his fight against the election results, “we fight like hell.”

The video then says: “President Trump ends his speech and urges his mob to move toward the Capitol.”

It then shows Trump saying:

So we’re going to walk down Pennsylvania Avenue, I love Pennsylvania Avenue, and we are going to the Capitol, and we are going to try and give…our Republicans, the weak ones because the strong ones don’t need any of our help, we’re try–going to try and give them the kind of pride and boldness that they need to take back our country. So let’s walk down Pennsylvania Avenue.

It then goes to protesters violently clashing with police, protesters breaching the Capitol, and some chanting “Fight for Trump!”

“The video was edited to make it l0ok as if Trump had urged supporters to go and violently breach the Capitol building,” Kristina Wong reported.

According to how it reads….. yes that would violate house rules. Especially editing and cutting to another feed before Trump said “Peacefully let your voices be heard”

Yes, they do.

But there’s more. The Gateway Pundit informs us that former CNN commentator Jeffrey Lord, who also happens to be a contributing editor to The American Spectator and a former aide to Ronald Reagan and Jack Kemp, looked through the Democrats’ 77-page document and found no less than 75 lies.

“It prints out to 77 pages,” he wrote. “I’ve read all 77 pages. And what did I find? I found 75 quite deliberate lies or misrepresentations, which means almost one per page.”

Well, of course they lied. They’re Democrats, for crying out loud.

Here’s just a few of the lies Lord found:

Lie # 1: The very first sentence reads: “This trial arises from President Donald J. Trump’s incitement of insurrection against the Republic he swore to protect.”

Fact: President Trump did no such thing. I had a front-row seat at his speech on the White House Ellipse. I listened to every word. (Here is the text if you want to read for yourself. https://www.rev.com/blog/transcripts/donald-trump-speech-save-america-rally-transcript-january-6 ) The President recounted his views of what had happened in different states when it came to running the elections in their state. Then he said this: “I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.”

There was nothing – nothing – said to cause “an incitement of insurrection”. That is a lie.

Lie # 4: Here’s what the impeachment charges say about the crowd that gathered behind the White House Ellipse to hear the President and others speak: “The crowd was armed, angry and dangerous.”

Fact: I was there. In the front row. There was rock music being played. People all around me were dancing. Laughing. I have the video that I took. To say otherwise is a lie.

Lie #5: The crowd in front of the President was “tense.”

Fact: As said, a provable lie. I have the video.

Lie # 6: The charge: “Then he aimed them straight at the Capitol, declaring: “You’ll never take back our country with weakness. You have to show strength, and you have to be strong.”

Fact: Left out – again and deliberately – the President’s call to “to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard” In short, no matter how many times this lie is repeated it is still a lie.

Lie # 7: The President is accused of a “failure to take charge of a decisive security response.”

Fact: The President of the United States has no authority over security at the U.S. Capitol. Those who do: The House and Senate Sergeants at Arms, House and Senate committees and The Architect of the Capitol.
Another lie.

Lie #12: “A President who violently attacks the democratic process has no right to participate in it.”

Fact: Calling for a peaceful and patriotic protest is not “violently” attacking the democratic process. To say otherwise, contradicting the plain facts of what the President said, is a flat out lie. Voter fraud, on the other hand, does violence to the trust the American people have in an honest election.

Lie #13: “Before a single voter cast a ballot in the 2020 presidential election, President Trump made it clear that he had no intention of abiding by the verdict of the American people.”

Fact: This assertion is a lie. It is based, according to a footnote, on this Politico article from September. But when read, the statements that Trump made as cited do not say “that he had no intention of abiding by the verdict of the American people.” He speaks of his concern about mail-in ballots and more. To say otherwise is a lie, a lie that the impeachment article itself proves as a lie by citing a Politico article that simply does not say what the impeachment article pretends it says.

Lie#20: The Second Million MAGA March in December resulted in “four stabbings and 33 arrests.”

Fact: Not mentioned? Trump supporters were the stabbing victims. The Trump supporters stabbed no one. Which is to say this is lying by omission.

There’s a whole lot more, and we strongly suggest you read his piece for yourself. In my humble opinion, if these Democrats were to do this in an actual court of law, and not the Senate chamber, chances are they could face serious ethics charges and could possibly be disbarred.

The Democrats and every person who aided and abetted in the 2020 election fraud should be indicted and put in jail for a very long time if not addressed under the acts of treason. This was arguably the greatest crime in world history. Instead our very corrupt and evil media is covering it up by not reporting it.
