For the first time in 75 years, the Dallas Morning News endorsed a Democrat. This time, it picked Hillary Clinton, perhaps the most evil person ever nominated by a major political party for the White House. As a result, a number of people have expressed their displeasure on the paper’s Facebook page.
“So now Dallas is supporting a criminal. A woman who has murdered, extorted, lied, stolen, and done everything possible to gain and keep power. So much for unbiased news or journalism,” one person said, echoing the sentiments of many others.
“Clinton is the only serious candidate? The compulsive liar? The one who could care less about American lives? The one who laughed about helping a child rapist escape charges?” another person asked.
Did SCOTUS make the right decision on medical mandates for large businesses?
According to the Dallas Morning News:
There is only one serious candidate on the presidential ballot in November. We recommend Hillary Clinton.
We don’t come to this decision easily. This newspaper has not recommended a Democrat for the nation’s highest office since before World War II — if you’re counting, that’s more than 75 years and nearly 20 elections. The party’s over-reliance on government and regulation to remedy the country’s ills is at odds with our belief in private-sector ingenuity and innovation. Our values are more about individual liberty, free markets and a strong national defense.
So why pick Clinton? The paper adds:
We’ve been critical of Clinton’s handling of certain issues in the past. But unlike Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton has experience in actual governance, a record of service and a willingness to delve into real policy.
Right — she’s got lots of experience skirting the law, failing to protect our diplomats overseas while lying over and over again to the American people. And let’s not forget that she was George Soros’ sock puppet while serving as Secretary of State.
Meanwhile, Trump has laid out actual policy reforms and shown that he understands the issues facing the country.
In short, the Dallas Morning News has told its readers it wants Hillary Clinton and George Soros to destroy America, even as it admits that Clinton has “remained dogged by questions about her honesty, her willingness to shade the truth.”
The paper also admitted her “use of a private email server while secretary of state is a clear example of poor judgment.”
Nevertheless, they want her in the White House.
But as one person noted on Twitter, this may actually be a good thing for Trump:
John McCain – Lost
Mitt Romney – Lost
Hillary Clinton – ?
Come on, Dallas Morning News! Work that endorsement magic!
