Crazy Bernie Sanders Goes Bananas AGAIN After RFK Jr. Calls Out His Hypocrisy For Accepting MILLIONS From Big Pharma (Video)

Earlier, we and others reported that Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., went nuts on Robert F. Kennedy Jr., demanding that he condemn a “onesie,” an article of baby clothing.  During the second day of RFK Jr’s HHS nomination hearing, “Crazy Bernie’s” head exploded again after Kennedy called him and others out for their hypocrisy in accepting millions of dollars in donations from pharmaceutical companies.

“And by the way, Bernie, the problem of corruption is not just in the federal agencies. It’s in Congress too,” Kennedy told Sanders. “Almost all the members of this panel, including yourself, are accepting millions of dollars from the pharmaceutical industry and protecting their interests.”

“Oh, no, no, no, no,” a red-faced Sanders angrily screamed in response. “I ran for president like you. I got millions and millions of contributions. They did not come from the executives; not one nickel of PAC money from the pharmaceutical industry. They came from the workers.”

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

According to the Daily Mail:

During the 2020 election cycle, records show President Joe Biden received the most money from people connected to the pharmaceutical and/or health products industries, at $13million.

President Donald Trump received the second most at $6.9million and Sen Sanders received the third most at $1.4million, making him the highest recipient of money from that group of any sitting member of Congress that year.

Open Secrets confirmed that assessment:

The Daily Mail also noted:

However, Sen Sanders insisted he did not receive money from the pharma companies themselves or any of their related PACs.

Rather, the $1.4million came from small donations made by employees of those companies and those people’s immediate families, and while the donors are associated with pharma companies, the money did not come from the companies themselves.

He also highlighted the $1.5million was small compared to the $200million he received overall in donations during that campaign.

In the 2016 election cycle, Sanders received $439,256.  Kennedy was also correct about something else.   Members from both sides of the political aisle have taken huge sums of money from Big Pharma.

Indeed…

Twitchy observed: “That clip is amazing because of how quickly Sanders went from being the senator asking questions to looking like he was the person on the hot seat. ”

Perhaps it’s because he’s not used to people confronting him with the truth…
