On Constitution Day, September 17, 2020, President Trump signed an Executive Order to establish “The 1776 Commission.” The purpose of the commisson is to promote patriotic education.
Speaking at the National Archives, he stated,
“Today, we are seeing the results of decades of left-wing indoctrination in our schools. No American student should be made to feel ashamed of their history or identity.” President Trump

“Critical Race Theory” has now been banned in the Federal agencies, thanks to another Executive Order by the President. The so-called “training” teaches the indoctrination of “white privilege.” It teaches that racism is totally pervasive in America and is our “way of life.” It contends that there is no such thing as being “color-blind or being neutral” to Blacks. It encourages “social justice” activity as well as experiencial thoughts rather than an objective approach. In short, CRT, as it is known, endeavors to create a sense of shame in Americans, especially white Americans as oppressors by nature. If they believe America is inherently bad, then their actions live up to the thought process. Whether or not it can be reversed at this point is questionable, but this President is committed to try.

The 1776 Commission is a great idea. It is meant to counteract the lies of the “1619 Project.” That was a revisionist view of America that called America a nation of oppressors, totally ignoring the progress that this nation has made since its founding. Thomas Jefferson was a slave owner, yet he most assuredly understood that the document he wrote was anti-slavery in its text. George Washington hoped in a future where slavery would not exist, as did Benjamin Franklin and others.
Of the 1619 project, the President stated: “This project rewrites American history to teach our children that we were founded on the principle of oppression, not freedom. Nothing could be further from the truth.”

As soon as the President announced the new Commission, left wing media jumped all over the idea becaue they absolutely adore the 1619 Project – they believe it is “truth.”
They have washed America with a black paint can that gives no hope of progress.
Trump just announced he will soon be signing an executive order establishing a "national commission to promote patriotic education" called the "1776 Commission."
It is unclear what that means but he has been trashing the 1619 project which aims to educate the nation with facts.

His Constitution Day proclamation ended with:
“Our youth will be taught to love America with all of their heart and all of their soul. We will save this cherished inheritance for our children, for their children and for every generation to come.” President Trump
