Lawmakers have called EPA Chief Gina McCarthy on her many lies while testifying before Congress. They reminded her that perjury is punishable by prison and they offer her a chance to correct the record before they level charges against her.
“Providing false or misleading testimony to Congress is a serious matter.”
“Witnesses who purposefully give false or misleading testimony during a congressional hearing may be subject to criminal liability. With that in mind, we write to request that you correct the record and implore you to be truthful with the American public about matters related to EPA’s regulatory agenda going forward.”
McCarthy is being accused of lying about the science used to write the EPA rule on Clean Water. The regulation of ozone levels and the possibility that the EPA is set to withhold highway funds from states that don’t bend over and kiss her ample arse.
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
If that’s all the lies they caught her in, she must have only spoken three lines.
