Grandstanding CNN propagandist Jim Acosta starts flame war on Twitter, calls Sean Hannity a liar

On Wednesday, grandstanding CNN propagandist Jim Acosta started a flame war with Fox News’ Sean Hannity, calling the conservative pundit a “propagandist for profit” and a liar on Twitter.  Hannity, naturally, responded, telling Acosta that people see through his “lying bullsh*t” and fake news.

“Hannity is a propagandist for profit, peddling lies every night. He says he’s just a talk show host, not a journalist. But he’s injecting poison into the nation’s political bloodstream warping public attitudes about the press. I’m confident in the long run the truth will prevail,” Acosta said.

This from the guy who told S.E. Cupp that he didn’t feel like he was in America when he was heckled by the audience at a recent Trump rally.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Hannity responded: “Jimmy sorry your precious feelings are hurt & that people see through your lying bullshit for what it is. FAKE NEWS.

The hashtag, #CNNSUCKS, is a reference to one of the chants hurled at Acosta.

Suggesting that the “cowardly” and adolescent Acosta get his “binky and banky,” Twitchy wondered what it was that set the CNN operative off:

What was he thinking going after Hannity? Well, technically he’s subtweeting like a mean high school girl because he didn’t bother to tag Hannity in his nasty dig so this isn’t really “going after” him …

Cowardly.

Reaction to the tweets was pretty much what one might expect, with Acosta’s liberal acolytes offering their support.  But those with sound reasoning abilities hit back — hard.

Ouch.  Schilling is onto something given that CNN “was ranked at the beginning of 2018 as being the most divisive media brand and was ranked this week as being the least trusted major cable news network by people who watch CNN on a regular basis,” the Daily Wire reported.

Additionally, CNN was considered to be the least-trusted name in network news according to a study released in January 2017.

Others weighed in:

We won’t argue with that.

As Twitchy observed, Hannity has never presented himself as “unbiased” unlike Acosta.

“Maybe Jim should just admit he’s not a journalist, he’d be a lot happier and get a lot further,” Twitchy noted.

We tend to agree.
