It’s pretty clear that Joe Biden has no idea what he’s saying.
That’s because he’s just reading what is in front of him and he’s not even doing that very well.
In his address to Americans for Thanksgiving, Biden didn’t seem to know how to say the word “Psalmist” instead, he said “palmist.” This wasn’t just a flub, either. He repeated it and didn’t seem to notice that it was weird.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
Herein lies the problem with the “religious” left like Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi — their faith doesn’t seem to be resting on truth claims of Christianity. I say that because they don’t seem to know the first thing about Catholic doctrine and they both call themselves “devout” Catholics.
It seems to be following the routine of what is socially expected or following the tradition in which they were raised. Perhaps it’s about networking, and making sure that they’re checking off an identity box that can resonate with a powerful voting block. It’s not like their faith actually changes their hearts or affects their worldview — otherwise, those things antithetical to scripture would make it difficult to be a leader in the Democratic Party.
After all, we know that Democrats are 0 for 10 when it comes to aligning their worldview with the Decalogue.
A so-called “faithful’ Catholic who doesn’t know that the “p” in Pslams is silent when the Psalms are read responsively at every Mass? Do you really believe that?
