On Christmas Eve, George Ciccariello-Maher, an associate professor of politics and global studies at Drexel University, issued a tweet calling for white genocide and due to the backlash of his racist remarks, Ciccariello-Maher says that “violent racists” are now smearing him.
After sending out tweets that included, “All I want for Christmas is White Genocide”, and then decides to clarify, “When the whites were massacred during the Haitian Revolution, that was a good thing indeed.”
After a good dose of backlash, Ciccariello-Maher is now complaining that citizens are calling him out and then goes on to say that whites are now violent racists.

A Drexel University professor who called for “white genocide” Christmas Eve isn’t apologizing, and instead says critics of his “satirical” remarks are “violent racists” who are apt to commit genocide themselves. Drexel is promising an investigation.
Ciccariello-Maher, meanwhile, isn’t apologizing, and is currently trying to protect himself by claiming the incident was an elaborate joke.
“On Christmas Eve, I sent a satirical tweet about an imaginary concept, ‘white genocide,’” he told Philly.com in an email. “For those who haven’t bothered to do their research, ‘white genocide’ is an idea invented by white supremacists and used to denounce everything from interracial relationships to multicultural policies … It is a figment of the racist imagination, it should be mocked, and I’m glad to have mocked it.”
Ciccariello-Maher is also complaining that his “satirical” tweet has exposed him to harassment, and suggests his critics are simply “violent racists” committed to carrying out genocide themselves.
Prior to Ciccariello-Maher latest wish for a white genocide, the Daily Caller reported that he has had a history of hating white people and wishing for genocide, which is ironic since Ciccariello-Maher is white himself.
