Masterpiece Cakeshop owner Jack Phillips has finally beaten the anti-faith law in Colorado as he’s gotten the state to drop its latest harassment campaign against his business.
Phillips reached an agreement with the Centennial State to drop his lawsuit against the state in exchange for Colorado ending its most current persecution of his religious principles. While Philips had no problem with gay people shopping at his cake shop, he just didn’t want to be forced to participate in gay marriages.
“The Colorado Civil Rights Commission will dismiss administrative action against Phillips, and Phillips will withdraw his federal court case against the case,” according to Fox 31.
“After careful consideration of the facts, both sides agreed it was not in anyone’s best interest to move forward with these cases,” Colorado Democrat Attorney General Phil Weiser said.
“The larger constitutional issues might well be decided down the road, but these cases will not be the vehicle for resolving them,” Weiser added. “Equal justice for all will continue to be a core value that we will uphold as we enforce our state’s and nation’s civil rights laws.”
This state commission voted unanimously to drop the case. Liberals have been targeting Phillips for sticking to his religious beliefs for years. Every time he wins a case they to attack him all over again.

This case has little to do with same-sex marriage and is all about religious freedom. It is cases such as Colorado’s action against Masterpiece Cakeshop owner Jack Phillips that proves the reason the genius of America’s founding fathers when they wrote the First Amendment’s freedom of religion clause. The First Amendment was never meant to stop religion from influencing government. It was written to ensure that the federal government wouldn’t have undue influence/pressure on religion.
Religions teach a way to live, but liberals believe that religion ends once a worshipper leaves their house of worship. But if they genuinely believe that, then one can go on a killing spree as long as they are off church grounds.

In June, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in favor of Phillips, who owns Masterpiece Cakeshop in Lakewood. Phillips had refused to make a wedding cake for a Denver gay couple in 2012.
The high court ruled that Phillips did not violate the state’s anti-discrimination law for refusing to make the wedding cake for Charlie Craid and David Mullins.
In August, Phillips sued then-Gov. John Hickenlooper and the commission, saying the state had renewed its religious persecution by investigating the Lakewood baker despite the U.S. Supreme Court ruling.
The case was nothing but a state-sanctioned attack on freedom of religion led by radical leftist democrats.
