Childress, Texas Police to the Freedom From Religion Foundation – Go Fly a Kite!

When the Childress, Texas, Police Department received a demand from the “FFRF ” – Freedom From Religion Foundation – to remove the slogan “In God We Trust” off their police cars, their police chief, Adrian Garcia, made a non-politically correct response:

“Ok so here it is I received a letter from the freedom of religion foundation, demanding we remove the “In God we trust ” off our patrol units. So I responded back with this letter.

Thanks,
Chief Adrian Garcia”

“After carefully reading your letter I must deny your request in the removal of our nations motto from our patrol units, and ask that you and the Freedom From Religion Foundation go fly a kite.” Chief Adrian Garcia

No, this is not a joke, it really happened. The letter is posted on the Childress PD’s Facebook page.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Go fly a kite

Numerous Texas law enforcement agencies have decided to place the motto on their patrol vehicles – sort of an “up yours” method of telling the Freedom From Religion organization to take a hike…or fly a kite as it were. (The FFRF was founded by Mikey Weinstein,  an atheist activist with a chip on his shoulder that is wider and longer than the Rio Grande).

Now THIS is the Texas we know and love. The one that stands for American freedom and American values.  This is the kind of police a community needs – men and women who will stand up to those who seek destroy our nation.

There comes a time when the people of this country need to take a stand against the tearing down of American values and freedoms. Perhaps these Texas law enforcement entities will be a catalyst for doing just that. We can only pray they don’t cave to the pressure, but continue to respond with strength and a no-nonsense attitude.

We love Texas!
