Call 911: Corrupt media mad Trump refused to concede defeat during debate
During Wednesday night’s presidential debate, GOP nominee Donald Trump told moderator Chris Wallace that he would “look at (the results) at the time” before deciding whether or not to accept the results of the election. Naturally, this sent the propagandists in the corrupt, dishonest media (known here as the “Democrat-media complex”) to engage in a collective hissy fit, falsely claiming Trump is destroying the country and essentially disrupting the entire space-time continuum.
In short, the media wanted Trump to concede defeat before the election takes place. He didn’t fall for it, however.
Here’s video of Trump’s answer:
Chris Menahan, writing at Information Liberation, noted:
Seeing as how the Democrats are planning the steal the election, as James O’Keefe just showed they’ve done for the last 50 years, this triggered the hell out of the lugenpresse.
Here’s just a couple of examples Menahan posted:
“Mr. Trump, don’t you realize you’re supposed to surrender this country to the international banks Hillary’s plotting in secret with to destroy U.S. sovereignty — because tradition???” he asked sarcastically.
Moreover, doesn’t Trump know that he’s supposed to do whatever the corrupt media demands, even if it means handing the country over to the most evil person ever nominated to the White House by a major party and her billionaire puppet-master, George Soros.
Rush Limbaugh addressed this on his Thursday radio program:
They’re not even properly characterizing what Trump said in response to Chris Wallace’s question. And you want some further irony on this? Let me give you the ultimate irony. So now we have everybody in the Clinton campaign and the Obama White House and everybody in Drive-By journalism claiming that Trump is putting at risk the very foundations of our democracy and our republic and our country. Donald Trump last night putting at risk the very existence of the United States and our transition-of-power tradition, da-da, da-da, da-da. And why? Well, because he will not concede defeat.
And that has the complex worked into a frenzy. Limbaugh continued:
They wanted Donald Trump to concede defeat just like they wanted the Republicans to take impeachment off the table, which they did, last night, everybody wanted Trump to admit that he had lost the election last night. That’s what they were going for. That’s what they wanted today. That question Chris Wallace asked, “Mr. Trump, will you pledge to accept the result?” “No, no. Why should I?” If he would have accepted, if he would have announced last night that he was gonna accept the results, the story today would be “Trump conceded defeat last night.”
But here’s the real point. Trump did what he had to do. Trump’s whole reason for running is wrapped up in his answer to that question last night. This is what I mean when I ask, do they not understand why the guy’s running? Do they not understand why the guy’s got support? Do they not understand why millions and millions of Americans have invested in Trump to the point that they don’t care about traditional political faux pas and they still hang with the guy? Do they not understand why? To this moment do they not understand why, or are they in unison somehow, all of them ignoring what they all know and trying to position this as something other than what it is?
He correctly noted that if Trump had answered the way they wanted him to, his supporters would be deflated and the media would be screaming from rooftops that Trump conceded defeat.
Trump responded to the brouhaha as only he can, telling supporters Thursday that he would accept the results of the election — if he wins.
Here’s video of that:
“Ladies and gentleman, I want to make a major announcement today. I would like to promise and pledge to all of my voters and supporters and to all of the people of the United States that I will totally accept the results of this great and historic presidential election if I win,” he said.
“Of course I would accept a clear election result, but I would also reserve my right to contest or file a legal challenge in the case of a questionable result,” he added. “And always, I will follow and abide by all of the rules and traditions of all of the many candidates who have come before me. Always.”
Sounds reasonable to me.
Let’s see the propagandists put this in their pipe and smoke it.
