Cal State prof: Ban Trump from Internet for views on climate change

“If Trump and his cohort believe the science of global warming is bogus then they shouldn’t be allowed to use the science of the Internet for their Twitter accounts, the science of global positioning for their drones, or the science of nuclear power for their weaponry,” he wrote at the left-wing Huffington Post.
According to the Daily Caller:
The California academic went on to lament what he said was a political environment where Democrats are the only ones “trying to remain in the fact-based world and accept the validity of scientific inquiry.”
Trump once suggested that climate change is a “hoax created by China” to disrupt the U.S. economy and harm American business. He has since moderated his tone, telling reporters earlier this month that he is “open-minded” on global warming.
The former reality TV star pointed to the “Climategate” email scandal as an example of the confusion surrounding the topic. The 2009 emails showed that Climate scientists allegedly futzed around with climate data to make warming look worse than it was.
The Daily Caller added:
Recent studies show global warming has slowed to a crawl over the past 20 years.
Scientists have struggled to explain the slowdown. The so-called “hiatus” in global warming is causing researchers to second-guess the climate models used to predict future warming.
Apparently Palermo didn’t get that memo.
