Bombshell: Trump accuser says she was ‘nudged’ at concert that apparently never happened

GOP nominee Donald Trump
Donald Trump is in trouble again.

On Wednesday, the Palm Beach Post reported that Mindy McGillivray claimed she “was groped by (GOP nominee Donald) Trump at Mar-a-Lago 13 years ago” at a Ray Charles concert reportedly performed at Mar-a-Lago on January 24, 2003.  Moreover, she claimed Melania, Trump’s then-fiancé, intervened.  But it turns out those claims may have been somewhat exaggerated.

The Post reported:

According to Davidoff, it was Jan. 24, 2003, when he and his father, the late Palm Beach society photographer Bob Davidoff, took photos at Mar-a-Lago during a concert by Ray Charles. Bob Davidoff for years was the Kennedys’ favored photographer in Palm Beach.

Ken Davidoff said he brought his friend McGillivray to help him during the concert. Her job was to keep numbered name plates of everyone the Davidoffs photographed.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

The Davidoffs were the official photographers of Mar-a-Lago, a deal they got only after Trump demanded he get 20 percent of their proceeds, Ken Davidoff said.

McGillivray, who was 23 at the time, said it was one of five or six times she helped Davidoff on photo shoots at Mar-a-Lago.

“Ken says, ‘We’re going to get backstage. Ray Charles is going to be there.’ He was one of my idols,’’ she recalled. “Ken wanted to get a picture of me and Ray, but that didn’t happen because he had all these bodyguards.’’

After the show, Davidoff and McGillivray were standing in a pavilion behind the main house in the middle of a group of people. To their left was Regis Philbin and his wife, Joy, according to Davidoff. To McGillivray’s immediate right was Trump and his fiancée, Melania.

But, a story at GOTNews said, those claims don’t add up:

McGillivray claims that when she was nudged in 2003, Trump and his wife Melania were engaged. But a quick Google search proves this is false: Trump proposed to Melania in April 2004. Why didn’t the Palm Beach Post or McGillivray check this obvious detail?

Perhaps because they never bothered to verify a Ray Charles concert at Mar-A-Lago even happened on January 24, 2003. A Getty Images search shows Trump and Melania posing with Ray Charles at Mar-A-Lago … in a photo by Davidoff Photos Studio, created on January 1, 2003, more than three weeks before McGillivray claimed she was “grabbed” at a Ray Charles concert. A Ray Charles concert chronology shows that on January 23, a Ray Charles concert in Seattle was canceled, but nothing was scheduled for January 24.

But it seems that the site mentioned above got edited after this report came out:

Trump-charles

Notice that the concerts listed immediately above and below are scratched out, and notice the caption on the photo: “Just before or after this Trump groped one of the other guests.”

Try about three weeks before the alleged incident.

On April 29, 2004, CNN Money reported:

After two marriages ended in high-profile divorces, the billionaire star of NBC’s “The Apprentice” proposed to his model girlfriend Melania Knauss, CNNfn confirmed Thursday.

The New York Post reported that Trump gave a blinding diamond engagement ring to the 33-year-old Slovenian native at a party Monday at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, but it went unnoticed by other guests.

Additionally, a post at Songkick doesn’t list a concert on the date in question, and we were unable to find anything to independently verify the concert took place at Mar-a-Lago on the date in question.

GOT News added:

Is McGillivray the most credible witness the Clinton campaign and their media arm has to offer? McGillivray, perhaps seeing how Alicia Machado was used by the Clintons then destroyed by the new media, was somewhat upfront about her criminality. She has an extensive, messy, criminal past, including the time she was arrested and booked for a driving drunk with a child in the vehicle on May 1, 2012 in Palm Springs, Florida.

Why is it that the hoaxing media will run with extremely questionable accusations leveled against Trump, while ignoring credible ones against Bill Clinton?

Do we really need to ask?
