Flames shooting out the window and a search warrant

Fox5 reported,

According to search warrants, officers from the George Mason University Police Department raided Room 105 at Jefferson Hall at around 8:45 p.m. Wednesday…

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

The bomb squad later advised campus police that the materials were being used to manufacture fire bombs or make explosive materials.

After obtaining a search warrant, they found “found a leafy green substance, match books, shaved match heads, a mortar and pestle, lighter fluid, hand sanitizer, candles and a PVC pipe.”

Arrests made – whoever they are

Two of the students were arrested on drug charges, the other on possession of bomb-making materials.

The materials were said to be the kind used for making fire-bombs. They were found inside a tool-box belonging to one of the students.

George Mason University officials declined to identify the students. Interesting that no names have been released and it has been several days since the arrests.

No further danger, but a lot of concern

Other residents at the dormitory were concerned when they learned what was found. None of them remembered hearing anything about such items:

“It’s surprising to me that no one else on the floor knew about it, and if they did, they didn’t say anything about it. Explosive are very, very harmful, but at least the police caught it before something bad could have potentially happened.” Sydney Cono
“I had no idea any of that stuff was in there. I mean, I know the people there, and I wouldn’t say that any of them were doing too crazy. But, I had no idea what they had those for.” Brandon Adoseh

Police advised that there appears to be no danger to the campus at this time.
