Black ministers have risen up in order to remove a racist symbol that receives honored status in the Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery (NPG) next to such heroes of civil rights like Martin Luther King and Rosa Parks.
All right thinking Americans should support them, and I do, but left minded individuals are fighting to preserve the heinous picture of noted racist Margaret Sanger, who founded Planned Parenthood in order to hold down the population of “defective” people. (Meaning blacks) They are demanding all of her pictures and her bust be removed immediately.
To this end, they sent the following letter to the NPG:
Perhaps the Gallery is unaware that Ms. Sanger supported black eugenics, a racist attitude toward black and other minority babies; an elitist attitude toward those she regarded as “the feeble minded;” speaking at rallies of Ku Klux Klan women; and communications with Hitler sympathizers. Also, the notorious “Negro Project” which sought to limit, if not eliminate, black births, was her brainchild. Despite these well-documented facts of history, her bust sits proudly in your gallery as a hero of justice. The obvious incongruity is staggering!
