Only a few months ago, Joe Biden had the chance to add woke, left-wing, ideologue Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson to the U.S. Supreme Court. And in her first officially session, she is already “finding” non-existent, woke, Black Lives Matter ideas in the U.S. Constitution.
What a surprise, huh?
She is also proving a level of arrogance that is simply amazing.
Put it this way, would you start acting like Cliff Claven right after taking a brand-new job among people who are supposed to be some of the smartest people in the country?
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
Well, Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson sure is.
Per the Washington Examiner:
Jackson, the first black woman on the Supreme Court, began her first two days on the nine-member bench by speaking more than any other justices , in addition to a full four-minute statement in which she said the 14th Amendment used “race-conscious” remedies to make freedmen equal to white citizens. The issue at hand involved a challenge to Alabama ‘s 2021 congressional district map, which a lower court held was a racial gerrymander because it only contained one majority-black district out of the state’s seven.
“I don’t think we can assume that just because race is taken into account, that that necessarily creates an equal protection problem,” Jackson said during oral arguments Tuesday in the case Merrill v. Milligan.
“Because I understood that we looked at the history and traditions of the Constitution and what the framers and founders thought about, and when I drilled down to that level of analysis, it became clear to me that the framers themselves adopted the equal protection clause, the 14th Amendment, the 15th Amendment in a race-conscious way,” Jackson added.
Wow. Talk about missing the point entirely.
The U.S. Constitution and its Amendments aim to give everyone equal status under the law as a broad ideal, but not because of their race. After the Civil War, the Constitution is not “race-conscious” at all. Indeed, even with slavery intact in the early republic, the Constitution was not “race-conscious.”
Indeed, at its core, the Constitution is truly colorblind and sees all citizens as the same under the law.
So, while this practically illiterate leftist ideologue is making to use the Constitution to implement her racist, woke ideas aimed at tearing down white people and elevating blacks to a higher status, the actual Constitution does no such thing, not for whites or blacks.
This is exactly why we can never allow leftism to gain power in this country. Leftism is a recipe for racism, hate, anti-Americanism, and the dissolution of this country.
Justice Jackson is exactly the dangerous disaster we knew she would be. And she’s proven it not in months or years, but in hours!
