Biden’s Bungled Campaign Trail, The Biden Cancer Initiative, Obama Meeting on Flynn

Democrat Presidential hopeful Joe Biden continues to bungle his way through the campaign. He said that there have been “120 million” COVID deaths in the United States (note: the actual number of deaths is about 122,000. He has trouble with decimal points).  He was greeted by Trump supporters and Black Lives Matter at a campaign stop in Lancaster, PA.  But his charity – the Biden Cancer Initiative, didn’t complete its purpose,  and his presence at a meeting in 2017 over Gen Michael Flynn speaks of him knowing more than he says.

First, the campaign trail

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Biden Cancer Initiative:

Biden’s son Beau died of brain cancer in 2015. He set up the Biden Cancer Initiative in 2017 to address a disparity in cancer treatments. Except very little money went toward that goal. The BCI was disbanded in 2019 so that Biden could pursue the Presidency. Meanwhile, his top executives on the cancer charity were paid exorbitant amounts of money, with little going to the stated focus.

Washington Examiner reported:

Of the organization’s total revenue of $4.8 million over the two years, more than $3 million went toward salaries, and $1.7 million went toward other initiatives. Of the $1.7 million, $740,000 was spent on conventions, conferences, and meetings. The organization used these gatherings to facilitate the promotion of data-sharing between health organizations, patient support, and other medical initiatives to help cancer patients.

The Biden Cancer Initiative did not cut a single grant check to outside organizations. The Biden Cancer Initiative, however, was not established as a grant-providing entity.

Charity watchdogs recommend that nonprofit organizations spend only 25% of their revenue on overhead expenses, such as salaries. Charity Navigator, an organization that rates nonprofit organizations to advise donors on the most effective charities, reported that the average mid-sized nonprofit organization paid its top executive $126,000 per year. The Biden Cancer Initiative paid its top executive, Greg Simon, $429,850 in 2018.

FBI notes: Biden knew more than he’s telling

Then there were the revelations from Peter Strzok’s personal notes recently released: Biden was present with President Obama, Susan Rice, Sally Yates, Andrew McCabe, James Comey, and Peter Strzok, at a January 2017 meeting where they discussed going after General Flynn. And yet he claimed to know nothing about the investigation into Flynn.

“I knew nothing about those moves to investigate Michael Flynn…I was aware that there was — that they asked for an investigation, but that’s all I know about it, and I don’t think anything else.” Joe Biden

Didn’t know a thing. Except that according to the notes from Peter Strzok (notes withheld from the General, by the way), he was the one that suggested prosecuting Flynn under the Logan Act.

The Daily Wire reported,

According to Strzok’s notes, it appears that Vice President Biden personally raised the idea of the Logan Act. That became an admitted pretext to investigate General Flynn.

Fox reported,

One of the notes says “VP: ‘Logan Act,'” which according to Flynn attorney Sidney Powell, indicates that “Biden personally raised the idea of [using] the Logan Act” as a “pretext to investigate General Flynn.”

On Wednesday, a federal appeals court ordered a lower court to allow the Justice Department to dismiss its case against Flynn.

From the Biden Cancer Initiative to the Flynn case, Biden is involved in problems up to his eyeballs. He has corruption from the Ukraine scandal and his son Hunter’s involvement with Burisma and China. He literally gave away charity funds for salaries and meetings, with only a tiny amount going to the stated purpose. And he suggested a path forward to keep the Flynn investigation going even when the General’s actions were known to be legitimate from the beginning.
