Biden Regime ‘Having a Spasm And Panicking’ After OPEC Ministers Agree To Cut Oil Production By Two Million Barrels A Day
On Wednesday, news broke that a panel of OPEC ministers agreed to cut oil production by two million barrels a day, sending the Biden Regime into what one official called “a spasm and panicking.”
According to Breitbart:
A panel of energy ministers of the OPEC+ alliance of oil-exporting countries on Wednesday agreed to recommend a historically large cut in output, a stinging rebuke to the Biden administration that is likely to mean higher prices at gas pumps in the United States and Europe.
The alliance, which is led by Saudi Arabia and includes Russia, is meeting in Vienna to negotiate the largest production cut since the pandemic first struck. The energy ministers who comprise the cartel’s Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee recommended a cut of two million barrels per day in the group’s overall production. A final decision will be voted on later on Wednesday.
The Biden administration has reportedly been attempting to persuade the Saudis not to support a production cut. The administration fears higher prices will aid Russia, hurt U.S. allies in Europe, and be a blow U.S. consumers ahead of the midterm election.
CNN reported that the Regime sees the move as a “hostile act” and is scrambling to prevent the move, viewed as a complete repudiation of the Regime’s efforts to get the oil-producing cartel to increase production:
Some of the draft talking points circulated by the White House to the Treasury Department on Monday that were obtained by CNN framed the prospect of a production cut as a “total disaster” and warned that it could be taken as a “hostile act.”
“It’s important everyone is aware of just how high the stakes are,” said a US official of what was framed as a broad administration effort that is expected to continue in the lead up to the Wednesday OPEC+ meeting.
The White House is “having a spasm and panicking,” another US official said, describing this latest administration effort as “taking the gloves off.” According to a White House official, the talking points were being drafted and exchanged by staffers and not approved by White House leadership or used with foreign partners.
This, just days after His Lying Demented Fraudulence, Joe “#PedoHitler” Biden bragged that gas prices were going down, using his now trademark “creepy” whisper:

He bragged that gas prices were down $1.30/gallon, but they still remained $1.29/gallon higher than when he was installed as president. He also hit the crowd with another of his never-ending whoppers:
And guess what? Prices are on their way back UP. And that was after Biden depleted the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to dangerous levels. Worse yet, he sent millions of barrels to other countries, including China!
Karine Jean-Pierre, the Chief White House Propagandist, was unable to say what happened to Biden’s pledge to increase oil supply:
Of course, the reason she couldn’t answer the question is because Biden’s pledge was — like everything else coming out of his crooked lips — a LIE. She also refused to answer if Biden would take responsibility for gas prices going back up, since he took credit for them going down, albeit temporarily:
“It’s a lot more nuanced than that,” Jean-Pierre told Fox News’ Peter Doocy.

Biden also promised to destroy the entire oil industry during a debate with Trump.
