We were hoping to be rid of that Irish-Mexican wannabe Beto O’Rourke, but at a rally on Monday night in Dallas, Beto endorsed Joe Biden for President. Biden reciprocated by saying that he would assign Beto to help with his gun control agenda. (New York Post)
“I want to make something clear, I’m going to guarantee you this is not the last you’ve seen of him. You’re going to take care of the gun problem with me. You’re going to be the one who leads this effort…I’m counting on you. I’m counting on you. We need you badly, the state needs you, the country needs you. You’re the best.” Joe Biden
Remember the statement by Beto that made Democrats cringe?
“Hell, yes, we’re going to take your AR-15, your AK-47. We’re not going to allow it to be used against our fellow Americans anymore.” Beto
Dems were hoping to keep that a secret, but Beto spilled the proverbial beans. Even in subsequent interviews, when he was asked if that meant gun confiscation, he said things like this:
“Just as in any law that is not followed or flagrantly abused, there have to be consequences or else there is no respect for the law. So, in that case, I think there would be a visit by law enforcement to recover that firearm and to make sure that it is purchased, bought back, so that it cannot be potentially used against somebody else.” Beto
Beto O’Rourke believes that gun owners will just turn in their guns to avoid fines, as we previously reported. Does Biden seriously think that as well? Or was he just pandering to a leftist idiot who has delusions of grandeur because of a political endorsement?
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
Biden didn’t elaborate on the part about leading the “effort.” What that would look like is a total unknown. However, based upon Beto’s previous statements on gun confiscation, it could create a firestorm of opposition for the former Vice President.
