Alabama ABC affiliate unable to find single voter who believes WaPo hit piece against Judge Roy Moore

On Friday, Breitbart.com reported that Birmingham, Alabama, ABC affiliate WBMA was unable to find a single voter who believes the Washington Post hit piece against Judge Roy Moore, the GOP Senate candidate hit with questionable allegations of sexual misconduct just weeks before a crucial election.

According to Breitbart:

During a segment that aired on Friday’s broadcast of Birmingham, AL ABC affiliate WBMA 33/40’s 5 p.m. local news, political reporter Lauren Walsh sought out voters in Columbiana, AL to gauge their reactions to the Washington Post report that alleged Republican U.S. Senate hopeful Roy Moore engaged in inappropriate conduct with four teenage girls more than 34 years ago.

None of the respondents according to Walsh told her they believed the Post’s reporting.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

“It’s hard to believe the events that transpired yesterday,” Gordon Fluker of nearby Wilsonville, AL said to Walsh about the Washington Post report.

Fluker’s response was the standard according to Walsh.

“Out of all the voters we spoke with Friday in Columbiana, we didn’t find one voter who believed the Washington Post report about Moore,” she said.

Columbiana is the county seat of Shelby County, a county that is the home to many of Birmingham’s southern suburbs. The county is very Republican, and in last year’s presidential election, it went for Donald Trump by a 72-23 percent margin.

Here’s another report that indicates voters in Alabama don’t believe the Washington Post:

Questions have also been raised about those making the accusations.

Newsmax columnist James Hirsen, for example, said the Post failed to disclose that one of Moore’s accusers was a sign language interpreter for Joe Biden and is a volunteer for Moore’s Democrat opponent.  The Post also endorsed Jones before publishing the hit piece.

According to Fox News:

One of the women accusing Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore of sexual impropriety reportedly worked as a sign language interpreter for Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, a new report claims.

Deborah Wesson Gibson, who told The Washington Post that she briefly dated Moore when she was 17 and he was 34, founded the language interpreting company, Signs of Excellence, and has worked for a number of democratic campaigns, according to Alabama Local News.

The company’s Facebook page shows Gibson working for and posing with several Democrats at political rallies including 2016 presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, former Vice President Joe Biden, former Sen. Patrick Murphy, D-Fla., and Sen. Bill Nelson, D-Fla.

There’s also a claim floating on social media that a woman was allegedly offered a considerable amount of money to provide dirt on Judge Moore, but that claim has not been verified.

Questions have also been raised about Leigh Corfman, who seems to have a troubled past of her own, according to AL.com.

A post at Activist Mommy said (Emphasis added):

The establishment doesn’t want Roy Moore, a man who can’t be bought or bribed, to pull up their political skirts and overturn their tables of corruption and greed! Roy Moore will win big! Buckle up RINOS…time to meet a real man!

Kayla Moore, Roy Moore’s wife, in an exclusive statement to The Activist Mommy yesterday, told us that “The Washington Post has been calling and harassing our friends and family, trying to find garbage. We’ve had people back home telling us they are getting phone calls and when they would tell them good things, the Washington Post would ask them if they knew anything bad on him.”

Well, her story continues to be corroborated, as witnesses have come forward saying the Washington Post, a paper that has officially endorsed Jones, has actually been bribing people to dig up dirt on Moore!

Establishment Republicans with no knowledge of the situation other than what the Post provided, however, have decided that Moore is guilty until proven innocent, and have said they think Moore should step down, essentially handing the seat over to Jones.  Keep in mind, this is the same bunch who preferred handing America over to Hillary Clinton and George Soros.

Moore’s campaign, Fox said, labeled the Post’s allegations “baseless” and “the very definition of fake news.”
