Recently released records from the Cherry Hill Women’s Center (CHWC) in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, has been the site of at least two confirmed medical emergencies in less than a year.
Operation Rescue has obtained 911 records from an emergency that occurred on July 27, 2016. While those records were redacted, they still describe a 28-year old patient who was suffering from apparent uncontrolled bleeding while in the abortion facility’s operating room when the 911 call was placed.
“We need an ambulance for a patient who’s still in our operating room right now,” the CHWC caller told the dispatcher.
“We appreciate the sidewalk counselors who were alert enough to photograph these incidents and report them to us,” said Troy Newman, president of Operation Rescue. “This adds to an ever-growing database of abortion injuries that have been documented by our office, which show abortion is not as safe for women as the Abortion Cartel would have us believe.”
“Operation Rescue acknowledges that the record of medical emergencies at abortion facilities is only a small fraction of the total number of abortion complications that happen each year, especially since most complications do not manifest until after the patient has left the facility, “said Newman.
“Because there is no accurate reporting of abortion complications and deaths in every state, there is no precise way to know the actual number of abortion complications, which Operation Rescue estimates could be in the tens of thousands each year.”
