Violent Antifa thugs at #MarchAgainstSharia throw unidentified chemical on female conservative blogger
On Saturday, 28 cities, including New York City, were targeted in what was billed as a #MarchAgainstSharia. According to a post at the Gateway Pundit, violent Antifa thugs counter-protested in New York City and threw an unidentified liquid on conservative blogger Lauren Southern as journalist Alex Rubinstein was trying to interview her.
It’s believed the liquid was either urine or butyric acid.
Rubinstein captured the moment on video and posted it to Twitter:

The Washington Post — which falsely called #MarchAgainstSharia organizers “anti-Muslim” — noted:
Across the street, separated by police officers and barricades, a few hundred mostly young people — including labor activists, Jewish and Muslim protesters, and left-wing anarchists — blasted air horns and whistles and held banners that read “Fascists out of NYC.”
From a stage adorned with an American flag, Pax Hart, who organized ACT’s march, railed against the left and the media, and branded the rival protesters as violent Marxists and “idiots.” All have conspired to shut the protest down, he said.
If you feel unsafe “walking around in a hijab, try being a conservative on a college campus,” Hart said. “We’re here protecting their rights, and they’re trying to shut us down! It’s insane!”
The left, Hart said, will criticize everything but Islam: “They’re gonna blast a nonexistent rape culture, but they’re not going to criticize Islam! … We will not yield to Islamic exceptionalism.”
Translation: You’re a fascist if you oppose fascism and oppression. Yeah, that’s the “thinking” of the modern left…

Which would be a good segue into some observations about the Borg-like collective known as the modern left.
Isn’t it interesting that liberals and the radical Antifa thugs side with those who want to subjugate women under Sharia law? And isn’t it interesting that some of those same pro-Sharia law protesters are seen carrying Soviet flags?
Islamism and Communism do not believe in freedom, so it’s only fitting the two groups would be seen marching side-by-side.
But don’t expect to see that mentioned by the so-called “mainstream media.”
