Videos: CNN deceptively edits Milwaukee shooting victim’s words to protesters

CNN bias

There’s a reason we refer to CNN as the “Clinton News Network.”  When they’re not shilling for the Democratic Party nominee, they’re engaging in other forms of propaganda.  This time, Newsbusters reported Monday, the network chose to leave out a very important part of comments made by Sherelle Smith, the sister of Sylville Smith, the man whose shooting by police sparked riots and looting in Milwaukee.

Here’s video, posted to Twitter by a user going by the screen name of Deecon X (Warning: graphic language)

“Burnin down sh*t ain’t going to help nothin! Y’all burnin’ down sh*t we need in our community. Take that sh*t to the suburbs. Burn that sh*t down! We need our sh*t!  We need our weaves. I don’t wear it. But we need it.”

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Clearly, Smith was calling for violence and looting in other neighborhoods, but that’s not the way CNN reported it, as Kristine Marsh reported.  According to the propagandists at CNN, Smith was actually “calling for peace.”

Seriously?

Here’s video of the report, courtesy of MRC:

But there’s more, according to Marsh:

But you wouldn’t guess Smith had said anything of the kind based on CNN’s reporting. Both on their website and televised on CNN Newsroom Monday, CNN described Sherelle Smith as “calling for peace.” They conveniently left out the rest of her message, calling for protesters to burn down the suburbs.

On CNN.com, under the subhead, “Residents try to heal,” the article read:

Smith’s sister Sherelle Smith condemned the violence, saying the community needs the businesses affected. “Don’t bring that violence here,” Neal, his other sister, said while sobbing.

That was all CNN reported. Again on CNN Newsroom this morning, correspondent Ana Cabrera reported that Sherelle Smith* was “calling for peace,” before playing just a few seconds of Smith’s words that left out the most damning part.

But it appears that CNN apparently got wind of Marsh’s report and edited the article, removing Sherelle’s name.

Not one to be outsmarted by the Democrat-media complex, Marsh posted a screenshot of the page at the time of her report:

CNN SmithOf course, that’s not the way it looked after being edited/updated on Tuesday:

CNN2Apparently, these aren’t the droids you’re looking for — go back to sleep like good little sheep…

That’s okay — we still have the video.
