This is CNN: Destroy Trump by any means necessary

CNN trump RussiansThe liberal media is out to get President Trump like we’ve never seen them go after anyone else. It has less to do with Trump the Republican or conservative — that does play a big part of it — but more to do with Trump calling them out, fighting back with ridicule and disdain. This makes them exceedingly angry, particularly CNN.

So what’s the plan? Well, they have to show that they are still relevant and not just a bunch of buffoons and to do so they are going to do what they can to destroy the Trump presidency and they are not subtle about it. To do this they need a scandal, so here it is: The Russians hacked our democracy by uncovering bad things behind the scenes in the Hillary and DNC camp. This allowed Trump to beat her. The question is, was Trump in on the gambit? Oh, look it here, his campaign surrogates were communicating with them during the election. Gee, this is collusion with a foreign power. Why, that’s treason!

So the media is constantly bringing up “ha ah!” gotcha’s to keep the scandal alive. Here’s CNN March 5th:

Six weeks into his presidency, Donald Trump and a number of top administration officials are again bogged down by questions about his campaign’s potential ties to Russia — and Moscow’s alleged role in hacking the Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

The past 48 hours have been dominated by a steady stream of new information about previously undisclosed conversations between Trump aides and Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak, a Washington fixture and, according to intelligence sources, one of Moscow’s foremost operators in the United States.

What’s this about? Well for one thing, the administration is “bogged down” by “questions.” By whom? Well, the media of course. This looks like a story about Trump but it’s not. It’s a story about media tenacity in scandal-mongering. The past 48 hours have been “dominated by a steady stream of new information” as though this “new” information is somehow generated by a natural occurrence and not them.

The CNN story above was titled: Untangling Trump and Russia: What we know — and what we don’t. It’s a take on “When did he know and when did he know it?” There must be something there, somewhere, it’s just a matter of time. It’s all “tangled” up and it’s about to be untangled.

It’s practically a given that Russia helped Trump beat Hillary by cheating and so everything emanates from that silly premise. Note the title “what we know” (nefarious!!!!) and what we don’t (Treasonous!!!) . But in looking at the basics, what stands out is if Hillary weren’t so corrupt the information contained in the hacked DNC and Podesta files would be of no consequence to anyone. The Russians (if they are even involved, but let’s just say for the sake of argument they are) didn’t “hack the election” — an intentionally vague and misleading term — they were essentially whistle blowers. If there is a real story in all the mess it’s Clinton corruption.
