The Saboteurs Among Us

I must confess to being a little less than patient with some folks who, whether realizing it or not, are useful tools of the Marxists and those who will use our freedoms against us. I tend to block these Facebook folks when I realize what they are doing whether it be deliberate or just ignorant because the results are the same.

The apparent correcting of information or the restating of something posted as if in support of the material presented can have the insidious effect of undermining the intentions of the original poster. There are groups of folks out there who intentionally do this. There are others who, like the busybodies that they have become, have any number of reasons for what they do but they do it none the less.

If we happen to be in a public gathering and listening to a speaker and have the opportunity to ask questions, you will often find these “plants” in the audience ready to line up and fire the salvos of doubt and opinion at the speaker. They pose as open-minded questioners while all the time being fifth column activists whose intentions are to destroy the tone of any meeting they attend and cause headaches for the unsuspecting speaker or their sponsors. Those who are aware of the tactics will have someone in charge of the microphone ready to intervene and escort the malefactor out of the arena.

The unfortunate end result of these walking minefields is an undermining of the process of open dialogue which presupposes an interest on the part of all to have free expression of opinion not the domination of the gathering by well paid operatives hell bent on disruption. The Nazis and Communists used these tactics well; their plants were protected but any others would be silenced quickly and after escorting those who might have had valid opinion or questions to raise would find themselves on the receiving end of a beating outside the hall.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Our socialist and Marxist minded left wingers resort to shouting down speakers, questioners and participants who dare to have any other opinions. One of the things I liked about Donald Trump’s approach during the election campaign was the quick removal of the disruptors but also the allowing of the dissenting voice that had real questions to ask and given time to ask them. The two types are quite different and the responses appropriate to the methods tried.
