‘Scandal’ star Joshua Malina hammered on Twitter after calling Trump voters ‘stupid’

On Tuesday, “Scandal” star Joshua Malina learned the hard way that it’s not a good idea to insult 63 million Americans as “stupid.”  According to Fox News and other sources, the Hollywood liberal let loose with a profanity-laced tweet attacking Trump supporters in response to the president’s response to North Korea.

“If you’re one of the stupid c–ks who voted for this stupid c–k, do you not feel like a stupid c–k?” he asked on Twitter.

According to Fox News:

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

The 51-year-old actor’s tweet was in response to President Trump’s warning to North Korea on Tuesday. He told reporters from his New Jersey golf club that North Korea dictator Kim Jong Un would face “fire and fury like the world has never seen” if Jong Un refused to stop his nuclear threats.

Malina’s tweet didn’t sit well with all of his followers.

One person responded, “Never heard of you Josh. Is this your lame attempt at relevance? Also, this #Scandal show you speak of sounds like an Obama admin. special.”

Another said, “You’re sadly #OUTOFTOUCH and have #ZeroCredibility.”

The Daily Caller added:

“I don’t feel stupid I feel proud I voted for Trump! You Hollywood communists don’t speak for middle America,” another wrote.

“Not even remotely funny,” another commented. “Your career as an actor is numbered. Never knew who you were and now know I really am glad I didn’t.”

And there were plenty more:

Good question.  Personally, I never heard of him and don’t watch his program, but rest assured, his name is going on our ever-growing list of Hollywood liberals whose faces will never pollute our television set.

Many on Twitter are still criticizing him on the social media site, and he’s not backing down from his attacks.

He continued insulting Trump supporters with the usual left-wing name-calling:

How original…

One person responded:

And got blocked by Malina:

Another liberal who can dish it out but can’t take it.

As of an hour prior to this writing, he claimed:

Wrong answer, sportsfans.

Fox News said a rep for Malina did not respond to their request for comments.  Malina responded by suggesting the network should contact him directly:

The Hill noted:

A frequent Trump critic on Twitter, 51-year-old Malina was reportedly asked in January whether his outspoken social media remarks could harm “Scandal.”

“One of the great joys of being criminally under-rated as an actor,” he said, according to Deadline, is he can exist “below the radar” on the internet.

It seems he’s not below the radar anymore…

Malina, The Hill further said, “was one of several ‘West Wing’ cast members who reunited last year to hit the campaign trail for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.
