Polish president slams fake news that wife snubbed Trump’s handshake

If it’s a day ending in “y,” chances are good that some liberal media outlet will propagate a fake or misleading story about President Trump.  Thursday was no exception.  The fake liberal media tried to claim that Polish first lady Agata Kornhauser-Duda snubbed Trump’s handshake, but it turns out that wasn’t the case.  This prompted Poland’s President Andrzej Duda to slam fake news outlets on Twitter.

“Contrary to some surprising reports my wife did shake hands with Mrs. and Mr. Trump @POTUS after a great visit,” he wrote. “Let’s FIGHT FAKE NEWS.”

Actually, it’s not surprising.  This is, after all, the age of liberal fake news and thug journalism, so no one should be surprised by anything the media puts out.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

According to The Hill:

In video taken of the event Thursday, President Trump initially shakes hands with Polish President Andrzej Duda.

Trump then appears to put his hand out to shake first lady Agata Kornhauser-Duda’s hand, but she walks past him to shake the hand of Melania Trump.

Afterward, the Polish first lady proceeded to shake President Trump’s hand. The interaction occurred as Trump visits several European countries ahead of the G20 summit in Hamburg, Germany this week.

The initial video put out on Twitter failed to show Trump’s handshake with the Polish first lady, The Hill said.

Naturally, propagandists at fake news outlets like CNN, reacted:

Cillizza wasn’t alone.  The New York Daily News also pushed the false story:

The Daily Wire’s Ben Shapiro noted:

First, Cillizza questioned why President Trump wouldn’t acknowledge that “Russia hacked the election.” Perhaps Trump didn’t do so because Russia didn’t hack the election.

Now, Cillizza has forwarded the false narrative that the wife of the president of Poland stiffed President Trump when he went in for a handshake…

Here’s the video that liberal fake news propagandists are using to spread the lie that Trump was snubbed:

Documenting the fake reports by several liberal propaganda outlets, Becket Adams said the media needs to grow up:

It looks like Trump was left hanging, but it also doesn’t look like it was intentional. It certainly wasn’t a “snub.” It appears Agata Kornhauser-Duda first made eye contact with first lady Melania Trump, the two shook hands and then Poland’s first lady moved immediately to shake Trump’s hand.

That’s it. That’s all of it. That’s the entire story. “OHMYGODOHMYGODOHMYGOD,” indeed.

It would be awesome if we didn’t have to Zapruder the news cycle because reporters can’t keep it together long enough to figure out the truth of certain events.

Can we please have just a little bit more restraint?

Restraint?  From the Democrat-media complex? Good luck with that.

A post at Sean Hannity’s blog added:

Similarly Newsweek published an article entitled “Watch Donald Trump Handshake Rejected By Polish First Lady in Hilariously Awkward Exchange.” Huffington Post similarly wrote that “Poland’s First Lady Ignored The Hell Out Of Trump’s Handshake.” Even the vaunted Washington Post got in on the fake news action, publishing the story under the headline “Polish first lady passes over Trump’s handshake.”

Of course, the story is wishful thinking on the part of the left-wing media. As the video of the event clearly shows, the first lady of Poland first shakes the hand of first lady Melania Trump, then immediately shakes President Trump’s hand.

Once again, the liberal anti-Trump media is forced to eat crow over its sloppy reporting and outright lies.  At this rate, crows could become an endangered species by the time Trump’s tenure in office is over…
