Piers Morgan sides with rapists, calls NRA ad ‘disgusting’ for suggesting women arm themselves

Piers MorganOn Friday, Piers Morgan, the British subject who used to regularly hawk his rabid anti-gun position on CNN, went after the NRA for an ad that suggests women protect themselves from rapists with firearms.

This is the ad that has Morgan’s panties in a knot:

Here’s a transcript of the ad, provided by the NRA:

Here’s a message to every rapist, domestic abuser, violent criminal thug, and every other monster who preys upon women.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Maybe you’ve heard the stories about millions of us flocking to gun stores and gun ranges for the first time, the second time and the 100th time.

Here’s what that means for despicable cowards like you: Your life expectancy just got shorter. Because there’s a very good chance your next target will be armed, trained and ready to exercise her right to choose her life over yours.

This is what real empowerment looks like—millions of American moms, grandmothers and professional women, taking our lives and our families’ lives into our own capable hands.

I’m the National Rifle Association of America, and I’m Freedom’s Safest Place.

Apparently, Morgan thinks it’s disgusting for women to protect themselves from rapists.  Is Morgan now anti-woman as well as anti-gun?

Dana Loesch and others rightly shredded him for his disgusting tweet.

As Twitchy noted, Morgan is “in no position to take the moral high ground. On anything. Ever.”

One person noted:

And, Twitchy added, many others on Twitter supported Loesch:

Good question.

Morgan, however, did manage to accomplish one thing — he perfectly illustrated the left’s war on women and freedom.
