Obama, Corporations Threaten Blackmail in North Carolina, Lt Gov. Responds

Obama, Corporations Threaten Blackmail in North Carolina, Lt Gov. Responds
“Since PayPal supports forcing North Carolina to have ALL gender neutral bathrooms and showers, why does PayPal have Male only restrooms in their own facilities?” – North Carolina Lt. Gov. Forest

North Carolina State lawmakers passed legislation (HB2) last week banning transgenders from using the bathroom of their choice, in response to a new ordinance in Charlotte, North Carolina’s largest city, which allowed people to use the bathroom corresponding to the gender with which they identify, outraging liberals, Socialists, LGBT community, President Obama, and businesses.

Many of these companies have now threatened North Carolina with moving their companies elsewhere or in one highly visible case, PayPal, who has canceled plans to open a global operations center in Charlotte, North Carolina and invest $3.6 million in the area due to the law that they believe is discriminatory.

PayPal CEO, Dan Schulman, using blackmail and intimidation tactics, announced plans to not open a new global operations center in Charlotte.

“In the short time since then, legislation has been abruptly enacted by the State of North Carolina that invalidates protections of the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender citizens and denies these members of our community equal rights under the law, “Shulman stated.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

“The new law perpetuates discrimination and it violates the values and principles that are at the core of PayPal’s mission and culture.  As a result, PayPal will not move forward with our planned expansion into Charlotte.”

North Carolina Lt. Governor [score]Dan Forest[/score] responded to PayPal, President Obama, Socialists, Liberals, and other corporations who threaten economic boycotts by saying, “If our action in keeping men out of women’s bathrooms and showers protected the life of just one child or one woman from being molested or assaulted, then it was worth it. North Carolina will never put a price tag on the value of our children. They are precious and priceless. If a corporation wanting to do business in North Carolina does not see the worth of our children in the same light, then I wish them well as they do business.”

In referencing a bathroom sign in PayPal’s headquarters, Forest further stated, “Since PayPal supports forcing North Carolina to have ALL gender neutral bathrooms and showers, why does PayPal have Male only restrooms in their own facilities?”

Transgender organizations have already filed lawsuits claiming the law is discriminatory when the law is not. Brandon Morse of RedState pointed out and stated, “The lawsuit prevents the state and its voters from enjoying the democratic process of making a decision for their own state, and as North Carolinian’s have decided, that decision is for bathrooms to stay safe.”

President [score]Obama[/score] also came out and is currently considering whether he thinks the new law is a reason to axe North Carolina’s federal aid for schools, highways, and housing. A typical government liberal and Socialist tactic.

D.C. McAllister of the Federalist Papers outlined why the law is not discriminatory and quoted North Carolina’s Governor office who stated, “This ordinance would have eliminated the basic expectations of privacy people have when using the rest room by allowing people to use the restroom of their choice.”

In the overall view of North Carolina’s law, McAllister went on to say, “Obviously, there is a full-court press of intimidation being leveled at North Carolina for standing up for a common-sense privacy law. This hysteria over HB2 shows the power LGBT militants and their sycophants in Hollywood and big business exert over the minds of Americans, which results in nothing less than propagandized group-think rooted in mass delusion.”

“Anyone who supports this kind of totalitarian overreach or cheers the boycott of North Carolina has drunk the Kool-Aid of leftist bullies, “McAllister said. “If you stand with North Carolina, you stand for states’ rights, individual liberties, actual civil rights, and common sense. The NC governor needs to be supported, not attacked, and encouraged not to cave to the dictates of the gay mafia as other governors have done.”

How reliable is PayPal’s threats and are they hypocrites? Breitbart News reported that they are and while PayPal is threatening North Carolina economically, PayPal is apparently fine allowing its services to be used in countries where homosexuals really are persecuted, some of them unto death.
