Former Senatorial Candidate Richard Fochtmann is a Maine Democrat who spoke at the Democrat Party’s “Values and Vision” Summit this week in Bangor. Maine First Media released an exclusive video that showed during his address, he whined about needing younger members, particularly women. Then he made a remark that has echoed through the Internet:
“Today, you know, I saw a [inaudible] that said a lot of men, white men are committing suicide. I almost thought yeah, great…Maybe I shouldn’t say that in public.” Richard Fochtmann
The other disturbing part of his speech is that the audience also thought it was funny and even cheered.

People who think suicide is “funny” need a good smack upside the head. Many of the those white men who commit suicide are military veterans. That Democrats at this meeting think it’s funny is extremely disturbing.

Suicide in America is the 10th leading cause of death. According to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, the highest rate was among white males, as they accounted for 7 out of 10 suicides in 2015. It’s likely those horrifying statistics that struck Mr. Foctmann’s funny bone. Was he endorsing white male genocide?

The story has been picked up by Tucker Carlson on Fox News, The Blaze, The Daily Caller, and a blog on Bangor News. Local media from their area refused to take it until they released their source, which they refused to do. And as Journalists, (even though they are a Conservative website) they don’t have to release that information.
