Keith Olbermann to Alan Dershowitz: ‘You’re not a racist … You’re a whore’

On Monday evening, Keith Olbermann, the current face of insane liberal hate at GQ Magazine, attacked Harvard Law School professor Alan Dershowitz while affirming that he is not a racist. At the same time, however, he managed to call Dershowitz a “whore” for some unknown reason.

“Of course you’re not a racist, Mr. Dershowitz. You’re a whore,” he said in response to a tweet by Fox News highlighting an interview in which Dershowitz said Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., is “crying wolf” by accusing him of racism.

Classy…

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

It’s not entirely clear why Olbermann thinks Dershowitz is a “whore.” Perhaps he thinks the renowned law professor should let himself be smeared by the likes of Maxine Waters.  Or perhaps Olbermann is simply incapable of constructing a coherent argument and has to fall back on childish insults.

According to Fox News Insider:

On “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz responded to Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) accusing him of being a “racist.”

Waters made the accusation on MSNBC after Dershowitz said that Washington, D.C. is an “unfavorable” locality for a grand jury for the Trump administration because it is “solidly Democratic” and has a “ethnic and racial composition” not favorable to Trump.

Dershowitz explained that every lawyer knows that when you’re selecting a jury, factors like ethnicity, race and political affiliation matter.

“If I had said that race was not a factor in the justice system, she would have called me a racist,” Dershowitz said. “She tosses around that term so promiscuously that it dilutes the term. She hurts her own cause, because she’s crying wolf.”

Dershowitz responded to Olberman by tweeting: “This is what we’ve come to. Name calling instead of reasoned discourse. For shame.”

I hate to break this to Mr. Dershowitz, but this is where we’ve been for years.

A number of Twitter users sided with Dershowitz:

So true.

Yes, he is, and he has been for years.

Newsbusters, a site that has documented liberal media bias for years, called Olbermann out back in 2005 for a segment in which he attacked the NRA’s Wayne LaPierre:

On Monday night, July 18, Keith Olbermann mocked the NRA’s executive vice president, Wayne LaPierre, because of LaPierre’s criticism of Columbus, Ohio’s recently-passed assault weapons ban. On his Countdown program, Olbermann has a regular segment called the “Worst Person in the World” in which he introduces three nominees for the dishonor – the first nominee labeled as “worse,” the second nominee labeled as “worser,” and the third nominee labeled as “worst.” Olbermann bestowed upon LaPierre the distinction of “worser” as detailed in the below quote from last night’s show: Keith Olbermann “Also nominated, Wayne LaPierre, president of the ever-popular NRA, the National Rifle Association. He’s moving the group’s 2007 convention out of Columbus, Ohio, after the city council there passed a ban on assault weapons. As a result, LaPierre tells the city, 65,000 people will not be coming to your wonderful convention center, hundreds of exhibitors will not fill your halls with their latest guns, outdoor gear and hunting accessories. I’m confused. Oh, I get it. He thinks that’s a punishment. Okay.”

A search of Newsbusters reveals no less than 144 pages of links dealing with Olbermann’s on-air lunacy.

Olbermann has exploded on a fairly regular basis since Trump’s election last year, as we reported here, here, here and here for starters.

Earlier this month, he announced an upcoming book with the juvenile title of “Trump is F*cking Crazy (This is not a joke).”

Given Olbermann’s history, perhaps it should be re-written as an autobiography with “Trump is” replaced with “I am” in the title.

In February 2011, I first said that liberalism, at its core, is an ideology of rage and hate.  Clearly, Olbermann proves that assertion correct on just about any given day.
