Iran’s Secret Military Nuclear Program Revealed
Iran appears to be hiding the true extent of its nuclear weapons program and is hidden at secret bases, concealed from nuclear inspectors, a new report has claimed according The Sun UK.
The Sun UK reported that the document contains images that claim to show satellite photos of installations at the heart of the Islamic Republic’s alleged pursuit of weapons of mass destruction.
It was compiled by the US-based National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) using sources in the People’s Mojahedin Organisation of Iran (PMOI) based within Iran.
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
The resistance group claims Tehran has “worked systematically on the various stages of enrichment, weaponisation, warheads, and delivery systems.
Chillingly, it adds: “In other words, Iran has been preparing itself to obtain a nuclear weapon.”
The NCRI says there are four sites that are key to the weapons programme and are hidden from nuclear inspectors – Pazhouheshkadeh, Nouri, Hafte Tir and Sanjarian.
The report states that the regime has concealed its true intentions by “deception, concealment, lying, destroying and tampering with evidence”.
It adds: “Some entities at the highest levels of the Iranian regime, including offices and centres affiliated with the President’s office, have been involved in smuggling or skirting sanctions to obtain illicit or dual-purpose equipment for these projects.”
In September, 45 national security experts, many of whom held senior positions in the nuclear weapons, arms control, nonproliferation and intelligence fields, sent a letter to President Trump urging him to withdraw the United States from the deeply flawed 2015 nuclear agreement with Iran (the JCPOA) using a comprehensive plan drafted by former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton.
The signatories believe President Trump was exactly right during the campaign when he said the JCPOA is one of the worst agreements ever negotiated. They believe this agreement is dangerous because it allows Iran to continue its pursuit of nuclear weapons while the deal is in effect, has extremely weak verification provisions, and ignores Iran’s increasingly destabilizing behavior.
