The failed policies toward Iran by the Obama administration has raised the stakes for the survival of Israel as in the past two weeks, an Iranian military commander was quoted as saying that if the Iranian supreme leader gives the order, they would strike Israel and destroy the nation in less than eight minutes.

The Times of Israel reported and picked up by the Christians United for Israel (CUFI), that a senior Iranian military commander bragged that the Islamic Republic of Iran could “raze the Zionist regime in less than eight minutes.”

Ahmad Karimpour, a senior adviser to the Iranian Revolutionary Guards’ elite unit al-Quds Force, said if Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei gave the order to destroy Israel, the Iranian military had the capacity to do so quickly.

“If the Supreme Leader’s orders [are] to be executed, with the abilities and the equipment at our disposal, we will raze the Zionist regime in less than eight minutes,” Karimpour said, according to the semi-official Fars News Agency, stated the Times of Israel.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

A senior Iranian general on May 9 announced that the country’s armed forces successfully tested a precision-guided, medium-range ballistic missile two weeks earlier that could reach Israel, the state-run Tasnim agency reported.

“We test-fired a missile with a range of 2,000 kilometers and a margin of error of eight meters,” Brigadier General Ali Abdollahi was quoted as saying at a Tehran science conference. The eight-meter margin means the “missile enjoys zero error,” he told conference participants. Read more at Times of Israel.

In related news, ABC News discovered late Friday that the White House omitted a line from a May 9 press briefing that had included a response from Earnest in which he admitted the Obama administration might have misled the public on the controversial Iran nuclear deal, “the Washington Examiner reported.

“The multiple incidents now indicate the Obama administration’s editing and deleting of public records may not just be freak accidents, but a purposeful altering of the historical record, “the Washington Examiner stated.
