Insane SJWs freak out over Bruce Willis’ ‘Death Wish’ trailer; ‘Racist,’ ‘Alt-right fantasy’
On Thursday, MGM Pictures released the first trailer of its remake of the 1974 movie “Death Wish,” which features Bruce Willis filling the role originally played by Charles Bronson. But, Breitbart and others said, critics and commentators have already branded the film “racist,” “alt-right,” and “nakedly fascist” over the trailer’s content.

Lexi Alexander, a Palestinian filmmaker and “occasional troublemaker,” according to her Twitter profile, thinks the whole Death Wish franchise has been racist from the beginning, even though in both films, Kersey is pursuing the white guys who raped and killed his family (one of them being Jeff Goldblum, for crying out loud):

But critic Alan Zilberman, who writes for The Washington Post, Slate, and others, has dubbed the film an alt-right fantasy:

According to Breitbart:
Willis stars as Paul Kersey, a surgeon on a brutal quest for revenge after his wife is murdered and his daughter is raped (Charles Bronson’s Kersey was an architect in the original five-film series).
The remake also trades out the original film’s gritty New York City environment for contemporary Chicago.
The trailer for the Eli Roth-directed film plays like most revenge films, promising plenty of gunfighting and shots of star Willis looking tough. In a twist on the original character, Willis’ Dr. Kersey wears a hoodie, an item of clothing associated in recent years with the Black Lives Matter movement.
Here’s the trailer that has liberal heads exploding across the country:
“Mind you, not one of them has seen the new film, which premiers in November, but they’re quite confident in their assessments. But if the progressives hate it this much, it’s gotta be good,” Trey Sanchez wrote.
According to Breitbart, some are whining about the setting of the movie, which is Chicago, instead of New York. The Chicago Tribune’s Nina Metz said the movie portrays Chicago as “a hellscape only one man can fix.”
Metz added:
A remake of the 1974 revenge-action film starring Charles Bronson, the updated version relocates the story to Chicago — a change in location that follows a well-worn path of people who understand little about the city’s problems but exploit them for gain anyway.
Remember when the president insisted there was a mystery Chicago cop claiming to have a solution to the city’s violence? The one who supposedly told Donald Trump he could “straighten out this problem” in a couple of days?
That’s basically the premise for the updated “Death Wish,” which sees Willis trawl through the city, armed and dangerous and on a one-man mission to take down the bad guys. That he does it while wearing a hoodie — a piece of clothing some all too commonly associate with black crime — is especially rich. Or shameless, you choose.
I do not understand how this new Death Wish trailer is like some sorta fascist, alt-right thing. Per the logic Im reading so is Batman then.

Breitbart said the movie also stars Dean Norris, Vincent D’Onofrio, Elisabeth Shue, and Mike Epps and is set to hit theaters on November 22.
I can’t wait to see it, and I remember when the original first came out. If SJWs already hate it this much, it has to be great…
