Identity of the Munich shooter – German-Iranian

The death toll from yesterday’s shooting in Munich, Germany stands at 9 victims and 1 shooter, with 16 people in the hospital. Ali Sonboly  had dual citizenship Germany/Iran. Officials find no connections to ISIS. Yet this 18 year old was reportedly “obsessed” with shooting rampages.

German-Iranian

Yesterday’s discrepancy between the shooter shouting “I am German” at a man doing a video, witnesses reporting that he was shouting “f***ing foreigners” and “allahu akbar,” is reconciled when we see that this man had dual citizenship. He was both German and of Iranian descent.

He was reportedly “inspired” by and obsessed with the Norwegian killer Anders Breivik, who massacred 77 people in the 2011 attack.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

He lived with his parents in the district of Maxvorstadt. His father is a taxi driver and his mother works in a department store.

Lured to the mall

Sonboly reportedly lured people to the mall by using a fake a woman’s Facebook account, and telling them they would receive a free gift. That account has since been removed.

The incident reportedly STARTED at the mall, then moved to McDonalds.

The German police narrative – deranged and depressed

According to Heavy.com,

In a Saturday, July 23 press conference, Munich police described Sonboly as depressed and deranged, and said he had received psychiatric treatment in the past, AFP said. In a citizen video captured while he was on a rooftop, Sonboly had mentioned being bullied and previously seeking medical treatment.

According to UK Daily Mail, Sonboly had the book, Why Kids Kill: Inside The Minds of School Shooters in his backpack. The book, published in 2010, describes its contents as “In this breakthrough analysis, Dr. Peter Langman presents the psychological causes of school shootings and offers unprecedented insight into why certain teens exhibit the potential to kill.” UK Telegraph says he also had newspaper articles on mass shootings. The Mirror said Sonboly had the German version of the book.

Police also found ‘active shooter games’ on Sonboly’s computer.

So the narrative is “deranged,” and “depressed.” A kid who was “bullied” and no, we don’t feel sorry for him. He chose to kill, and his obsession gave him the excuse.
