Harry Reid: FBI Director Comey may violate federal law by investigating Hillary’s lawlessness

On Sunday, “Dingy” Harry Reid, the outgoing Democratic Senator from Nevada, issued a letter accusing FBI Director James Comey of engaging in a partisan witch hunt by announcing that he would be looking further into the lawless actions by Hillary Clinton, the most evil person ever nominated to the White House by a major party.

According to Reid, Comey is potentially violating federal law by “using his official authority to influence an election.”

NBC News reported:

In a letter sent to the director Sunday, Reid said the timing of Comey’s disclosure of a renewed investigation into Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton’s private e-mail server demonstrates a “a disturbing double standard,” with “the intent to aid one political party over another.”

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

“The clear double-standard established by your actions strongly suggests that your highly selective approach to publicizing information, along with your timing, was intended for the success or failure of a partisan candidate or political group,” Reid said.

Reid said Comey’s actions may be in violation of the Hatch Act, a federal law which prohibits government employees from taking an active part in political campaigns.

The Nevada senator also accused the FBI Director of refusing to disclose information regarding the alleged “close ties” Republican nominee Donald Trump has with the Russian government.

“The public has the right to know this information,” Reid said. “And yet, you continue to resist calls to inform the public of this critical information.”

Translation: The FBI is supposed to turn a blind eye to Hillary’s lawlessness because she’s the Democrat nominee.  To do otherwise not only makes him an agent of Russian President Vladimir Putin, but a lawbreaker as well.

Exit question: Would Reid be saying this if the FBI was looking into allegations against Donald Trump?  I think not…
