Geller: Lynch’s promise to prosecute speech ‘sharia enforcement’ and ‘sedition’ by administration
Earlier Friday, the Internet blew up with reports that Attorney General Loretta Lynch promised a Muslim group she would prosecute those who use “anti-Muslim rhetoric” that “edges toward violence.”
Pamela Geller, author and president of the American Freedom Defense Initiative (AFDI) and Stop Islamization of America (SIOA), responded sharply on her website, accusing the administration of engaging in sedition and enforcing sharia law in the United States.
“My message not just to the Muslim community but to all Americans is ‘We cannot give in to the fear that these backlashes are really based on,’” Lynch said while speaking at the Muslim Advocate’s 10th anniversary dinner on Thursday.
Geller responded:
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
What backlashes? Americans have been slaughtered at a Christmas party in the cause of Allah. This is sharia enforcement. This is sedition by the Obama administration. This should not be the response of the wholesale slaughter of American “unbelievers.”
Unfortunately, it is. Moreover, as Steven H. Ahle reported, Democrat lawmakers are set to participate in a prayer meeting with members of the radical Dar Al-Hijrah Islamic Center in Falls Church, Virginia even though many liberals castigated Christians who prayed for the victims of the San Bernardino shooting, as though that would actually stop Christians from praying.
Authorities are now calling the shooting an act of terrorism, not workplace violence spawned by global warming. More is being learned about the shooters with each passing hour, including the fact that the female shooter, Tashfeen Malik, used a fake address on her visa application, but was allowed to enter the country anyway by the Obama administration.
Now the regime is set to restrict the First and Second Amendment rights of all Americans even further.
In January 2014, a retired Army officer organized what he called an “American Spring” to remove leaders of both parties from office. He failed in that effort, but one cannot help but wonder if this shooting would have been avoided if the current leadership had been forced out of office in the 2014 elections.
