Despite Democrat Hysteria, Pence Has History of Protecting Constitutional Rights

To listen to Hillary Clinton and Elizabeth Warren, Donald Trump’s choice for Gov. Mike Pence as his running mate is a cross between Leatherface and every SS concentration camp guard who’s ever lived.

As it turns out,  Twitter is alight with photos of Clinton and Warren yukking it up for the cameras. There’s also a slew of rather vile messages posted by Warren.

Just two examples of the bile Faux-cahontas has been spewing to the world regarding Pence:

In spite of the hate-filled drivel emanating from the Party of Love and Unicorn Farts, the Democrats obviously have already forgotten of Pence’s history in the House of Representatives.

Arguably the most important law with his name attached to it was H.R. 2932: Free Flow of Information Act of 2011.  In the wake of New York Times reporter Judith Miller serving almost a three-month sentence for refusing to reveal her sources

As cited by the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press on Oct. 16, 2007:

“Protections provided by the Free Flow of Information Act are necessary so that members of the media can bring forward information to the public without fear of retribution or prosecution, and more importantly, so that sources will continue to come forward,” bill co-author Mike Pence (R-Ind.) said in a prepared statement.

“Without the free flow of information from sources to reporters, the public will be ill-prepared to make informed choices.”

As a for instance, below listed are just a few of  the legislative bills either sponsored or co-sponsored by the Hoosier then-Congressman and now Governor:

  • H.R.311 – American Dream Tax Relief Act of 2003 – As described by Pence on the floor of the House, “The American Dream Tax Relief Act, Mr. Speaker, is, quite simply put, an act that would dramatically reduce the taxes on capital gains in this country from their rate, which varies everywhere from 28 percent down to 8 percent, to a single flat capital gains tax rate of 10 percent.”
  • H.R. 6415: Tax Relief Certainty Act – To permanently extend the 2001 and 2003 tax relief provisions (aka: The Bush tax cuts), and to permanently repeal the estate tax, and to provide permanent AMT (Alternative Minimum Tax) relief.
  • H.R. 642: Broadcaster Freedom Act of 2011 – To prevent the Federal Communications Commission from forcing broadcasters to present opposing viewpoints on controversial issues (Ex: If a radio station airs three hours of Rush Limbaugh, that same station must air three hours of liberal talk radio.
  • H.R. 549: Expressing support for all Iranian citizens who struggle for freedom, human rights, civil liberties, and the protection of the rule of law.
  • H.R. 3726: Child Pornography Prevention Act of 2005 – To enhance prosecution of child pornography and obscenity by strengthening section 2257 of title 18, United States Code.

Just for Killary and Faux-cahontas
