Breitbart reporter files assault charges against Trump campaign manager — Videos

fields2On Friday, the New York Daily News, citing the Independent Journal, said Breitbart.com reporter Michelle Fields has filed assault charges against Corey Lewandowski, Donald Trump’s campaign manager.

The charges stem from an incident in which Fields alleges Lewandowski grabbed her and nearly pulled her to the ground at a Tuesday press conference in Jupiter, Florida, after she asked Trump a question about affirmative action.

According to the NYDN, the Jupiter Police Department said it is investigating an incident that reportedly took place at the Trump Club, but did not release more details.

The NYDN added:

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

The attack left Fields with bruises on her forearm, and she tweeted a photo of the injured limb on Thursday.

Fields said she wasn’t called on to ask her question during the televised portion of the presser at the Trump National Golf Club — so when Trump walked through the crowd of journalists after the event, taking more questions, she asked hers.

“Trump acknowledged the question, but before he could answer I was jolted backwards,” she wrote Thursday. “Someone had grabbed me tightly by the arm and yanked me down. I almost fell to the ground, but was able to maintain my balance. Nonetheless, I was shaken.”

Trump has denied the incident ever happened, despite audio, a transcript and an eyewitness from the Washington Post.

Lewandowski denied having touched her, and claimed he never even met her — after claiming just the opposite earlier.

But Dana Loesch noted:

A new video has surfaced that would seem to tell a completely different story:

Breitbart.com, however, now says it’s possible that Lewandowski may not have assaulted Fields, but someone obviously did.  While many Trump supporters agree, and are now attacking Fields, others have a different point of view.
