By now everyone has seen clips of the brutal beating of a father in a black Range Rover, but what you couldn’t see was that at least one of the bikers there was a NYC undercover cop. He didn’t participate but he did nothing to stop it.
It was revealed late on Friday that a NYC undercover policeman, riding in the large group that harassed a man, his wife and child and then pulled the father from his SUV and beat him severely. The unidentified officer rides with the New Rochelle based Front Line Soldiers. Several other policemen ride in that group and internal affairs is checking to see if any of them were on the scene.
The officer waited three days before reporting that he was on the scene. He has been reassigned to modified duty and had to turn in his badge and gun. He admits standing by and watching the beating. Internal affairs is questioning other members of the bike club to see if they were also on the scene and witnessed the beating that left Internet exec Alexian Lien lying on the ground as his wife and child were cowering inside the SUV.
